Or its a situation like mml/blind a few games ago where they butted heads and everyone laughed, had a good time, called it town/town, smiled and nodded and whoops turns out one of them was a wolf!!! =)

The how is a little weird to process.

Prosecution Roles
Manfred von Karma - The Forger: A perfect record. A perfect case. These are the foundations of the von Karmas, and you uphold them to the highest standard. To maintain the perfect case for this new trial, you may forge evidence. During pregame, you may select a non-wolf player. That player will show up as guilty to all checks and visit every night kill scene.

PR hunting a Manfred von Karma pretty much starts Day 1. Note that we have full role flips so if someone flips red as VT or PR it's going to be obvious it's fake. This game has no VW so they cannot get away with saying town lynched a wolf. If the target is still alive, you want to look into players who tries too hard to throw suspicion into another player.

Franziska von Karma - The Lasher: Your ferociousness in court is unmatched. Your enemies leave with welts and scars at the wrath of the prodigious youth of the von Karma clan. Every night, you may select a target to attack with your whip, roleblocking them.

That's a typical Roleblocker with nothing special. Not much that can be done in terms of finding a player for that by playstyle.

Miles Edgeworth - The Nemesis: Your confidence in your craft allows you to gain advantages and sweet-talk the judge. Every night, including pre-game. You may select a target. Your target will have +0.1 votes the following day. If that target is lynched, you will gain powers.
-1 success: Master wolf status
-2 successes: One-shot roleblock
-3 successes: One-shot vigi
Cannot exist if the attorney version is rolled.

Not much to say on that one either, but if something weird happens with votes, there's a good chance we're stuck with a Master Wolf.

Matt Engarde - The Deceiver: Refreshing like a spring breeze. At least, that's what you want everyone to think about you. You are a master wolf until you make the conviction (night kill).

Another Master Wolf ZzZz..

Kristoph Gavin - The Manipulator: A defense attorney gone corrupt, you possess the power to manpiulate others by careful planning. Once in the game, you may call up one of your connections. Your connection will enable your kill to be unblockable and untraceable. You must be the one performing the kill for this to work.

Strongarm. It's like the roleblocker, there's not much to meta out of it imo.

The Phantom - The Shapeshifter: As a skilled spy and assassin, you are able to adapt to your surroundings to aid your team. During pregame, you may select a power from any other prosecution role that your team did not roll to use as a one-shot ability.

The only thing I can think related to that is that we can expect to have a variety of multiple different roles within red PRs as they cannot pick something already used.

Yatagarasu - The Master Thief:* As a master thief and criminal, you are able to swap things around without any one batting an eye. Once per night, you may pick two players. Any actions used on these players will be swapped.

That's probably going to be the reason behind someone claiming and mentioning things that doesn't match with reality. Just knowing this role exist is annoying because it opens the door to fake claims as well. Can probably still solve them by comparing progression within the real and the fake if it gets to CC later on in the game.

anyway before I get too serious about interpreting my notes so far, I'm going to say I actually don't like maki for latching onto someone else's shitposting technique (the mtg thing)

but yeah that's probably my shittiest hunch right now
