They can send a target in the day or night

What I'm saying is danceguy was talking at eod, he got modkilled for his only night post. So somewhere between eod and night start he got silenced.

The way it's phrased is that if they send it at night it silences during the day

if they send it during the day, they're silenced at night

because it happens THE PHASE AFTER

"One Shot Hypnosis
Targets a player during day or night, that player will be unable to post for the following phase. Cannot be used on Day 0."
