If the seer hits a human, they can come out to that person and have the human come out in the thread. The human gets the psychic to come out to him and bam underground blue alliance.

The human will probably die in the process though.
In addition to the problem of this human dying, it could also end up being MW. If MW gets seer'd as green, they'd themselves likely outed as MW, but they'd also be able to take down the seer and psychic with them.

So all of this just to get seer and psychic together? Is there that much to gain by having these two together? I still stick by what I said in my previous post for what the seer should do: remain in the background, work with what they can, but don't include anyone in the fold they cannot trust completely (the only one they could is if they seer psychic and it comes back Blue-- is that how seer's returns work in this game?).

I think I pointed this out already, but a smart wolf would leave you alive. You're probably far less threat to the wolves in reality than the IDEA of you is, and leaving you alive may well lead the foolish people to lynch you on their own accord.

I know I'd definitely leave you alive, ESPECIALLY in a game with no guardian.

Thanks for stealing my post about someone being MW Afro!

But he's right. It's too much of a risk to have a seered human as alliance leader.

          No it's not.
          That's a 9% chance.

well I'm trying to talk to people, investigate. Just kind of have to wait for night1 to end and see what happens, go from there, etc. the usual.

9% is still a notable risk.

It's a 9% chance of needlessly handing the game to the wolves.

                Re: TWG LXXXIX: Simplicity

You don't make that person alliance leader, the blue in charge just uses them as a screen to speak through. There is no other way of effectively getting the seer's info out to the thread.

Discuss with me if you have reasons against this. Yes there is going to be a chance the seer comes out to a wolf if he goes to a seered green. There's also a chance he gets wolved before he gets any info out to the thread. If the green he comes out to doesn't die and he does, it's pretty obvious the mw was the seered green.

                                Think about cost versus benefit.

The cost is a "9%" chance that both our seer and psychic die. This means that within 3 days in, our best human assets will be gone.

The benefit is that the seer and psychic will be in contact. But this doesn't matter very much. Is there that much to gain from having these 2 together versus working separately? Is it worth a 1 in 10 shot at knocking them both out just so that they might be able to be a mason team who can defend each other 100%?

And barring either one of these players being killed, the chances of them getting together on their own goes up every day (assuming seer result returns "blue", can we get clarification here, host?).

Wolves aren't against killing themselves if it betters their agenda. Don't be so quick to make assumptions.

Notice also that the wolves could INTENTIONALLY NOT KILL HIM so that we would lynch him incorrectly the next day. This is what I'd do as a wolf. Why do the hard work yourself when the foolish humans are raring to do it for you?

ps one more thing I want to say to the seer: don't look at the "obvious" people. Use your powers on the lesser ones, the ones who likely won't be wolfed (or lynched, looking further into the game), even the lowest tier players. The wolves will help you thin out your pool if you pick intelligently. Only bother looking at "power players" if it gets to be closer to the end and they're still alive.
