    Re: TWG XCIV: Old Blood

Also, I'm sorry V, I couldn't let your datamining on who would vote for freaky with terrible/no logic attached continue. It was starting to escalate, and I feel pretty confident Freaky is a human.

Zoshi could be too, his behavior has been heavily influenced by being on the chopping block for 4 or 5 days. Desperation when being lynched is not a strictly wolf trait.

My vote is staying where it is. I still don't see the logic behind wanting to vigi someone like TPS. He's virtually never even said anything to warrant the use of a vigi on him. It's a shot in the dark at best.

If you can give a reasonable explanation as to why blowing a vigi on an unknown is viable, by all means but that just didn't make sense to me.
      Dear sirs,
One of my checks was returned marked "insufficient funds".

In view of current events in the banking market, does that refer to me or to you?

        Re: TWG XCIV: Old Blood

Having a second voting pool that controls who the vigi kills is like having two lynches a phase. Even if there is a SK, if he wants to play along and pretend to be a vigi, he has to kill who the majority of the people vote to kill. Voting to vigi someone is no different than voting to lynch someone in the next day phase. This way, the majority has more control over who the vigi decides to kill rather than have one person decide on who to kill.

This being said, if I voted TPS, you would not have called me out on it, but if I vote to vigi TPS, you call me out on it. Why would you not want to control who the vigi kills via majority and let the vigi do as he pleases. Having an extra kill can do us harm, or it can do us good. Being able to control it helps us in every possible way.

Also, if we as a majority vote to kill the vigi himself, at this point if he is the real vigi/SK, he would just target the next suspicious player/random player. After doing so, we are forced to lynch that person, and the wolves are forced to wolf that person. But this must happen, and wolves know this too, so they will let us lynch him. At that point in the game, we no longer need a "2-vote" pool anymore, so we can happily kill off the vigi/SK knowing that it is just as likely he was the SK.

Further, we don't even know if we HAVE a vigi.

I'm aware of this. I am also more sure that we don't have a SK since no one was killed night 1. We can verify this further with a second voting pool of who we want the vigi to ideally target. This way, the SK must also target that person to pretend to be a vigi.

              Re: TWG XCIV: Old Blood

My qualm is with your condoning random vigi-ing, not your voting. The odds are that we will hit a human if we're taking shots in the dark with it. We'd be losing potentially 3 humans in two phases just to maybe find out who the SK/vigi is.

Think of it as having two votes a phase.

A master vote and a slave vote.

You aren't listening to me. We are voting for the most suspicious person, and we are voting to vigi the second most suspicious person.

In what way is TPS a suspicious person, though? He's been more than UTR, he's been non-existent. It's just so random. He's done nothing to warrant suspicion except not play.

It's a random choice with no real back-up to it except that he might be UTR. Where you have Zoshi, me, V, Manti, OWA, all active and discussing in the thread that you could get a read on or infer things about. Of the people active in the thread, the probability is that one is a wolf.

I don't want to kill james, owa or sytho. they posted enough for me to focus away from them. only person left on this list is tps, so I wouldn't mind him being a potential 'vigi' target to verify if a vigi/SK indeed exists.

Again let me point out that if I voted for tps instead of voting to vigi him, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

Well I have to go to work so I can't deliberate with you about it, but I think it's a really sketchy direction to take considering the potential loss for humans. The risk isn't worth the gain. The SK could simply not do anything and pretend they don't exist in the game at all.

Voting isn't the same as viging. After a vigi we still need to lynch. I'm viewing worst case scenario as being down three humans by the start of the next day phase.

Anyway I have to go to work now.

what risk? we are having two votes. if SK doesn't make any kills, that helps us. we are forcing the SK to either kill who we want to lynch in the next phase, or we are helping the vigi decide on who to kill instead of having him decide on who to kill by himself and essentially wasting his abilities if he isn't certain.
