Story of Dreamers is only recording 671,150 instead of 764,150. I just AAA'd the 493 note version and my score isn't registered as 764,150.

Let's also not forget on top of the increased density in the chart overall, is that the increased speed (30+ BPM, compared to last song). While the chart does lack a bit in the technicality section, it still pushes a few really tricky patterns, like the few streams that head into jumps separated 1/8th of a note apart. Objectively, this song is a bit tougher. Subjectively -- well, you guys are good at streaming/faster stuff.

Objectively, the song has very common patterns players are used to with no real difficulty spikes. The rhythms are slightly tricky, but there's worse stuff in other 9s that players have been exposed to (what the f is this, for example) so this is really not that bad. I'm surprised it's a 10- not gonna make a big deal of it this time, but for the record I think it should be bumped down. Whatever.

Subjectively, the fact that it's more generic makes it easier than last round.
By a lot.

Please stop thinking solely in terms of BPM and TPS and start thinking a little more about what the players actually have to DO to hit the patterns. I mean, 1234 jumptrillable rolls and 1324 split rolls have the exact same BPM and TPS, but the D6 chart shows pretty clearly that they're not comparable in what you have to actually DO to hit them when playing spread (which, face it, the majority of the community does) lmao

Only played D6's song: Colors make this file interesting. Definitely something memorable. AAAing the file is going to be really difficult for me.

I'll play the other files when I wake up from my sleep. I'm hearing some interesting stories in D3 and D5 so I'm looking forward for that haha.

I think Velocity following Fall Silently seems like the logical choice. Again, it depends on what your strengths and weaknesses are, but FS's difficulty is stressed in the latter half where it gets more technical. Velocity's difficulty is constant, filled with pretty fast-paced broken jumpstream throughout the entire file offset with a few polyrhythmic sections. I'd say it's slightly harder to FC, but slightly easier to AAA.

But yeah, the song progression made sense to me.
