Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
Note: After much discussion, another Otaku Speedvibe chart will not be used. Focus on the idea of the token!
Note: Most are in favor of the new Skill Token. Remember, we're just infering the difficulties, not selecting particular songs. At least, not until the official R1 Difficulties Thread list is established. For quite a while, it has been apparent that the once contemplated [Oni] has lost its initial value of being a token only elitists could achieve. When only ~10 outstanding members could attain it, now 400+ evidently can. Attempts at restoring it to it's previous glory have been the results of fueds (News and Updated [Oni] Token List) and wiping the Skill Token from every member would be too harsh. Therefore, a new Skill Token is being thought of. Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT] could potentially be the next Skill Token that will challenge our members that have raised the standards of our game. Some think that [EDIT] unlocks should be an AAA on any FGO, which would increase the range of members who can realize such requirement. Based on the study below, several members have the potential to AAA a FGO. Considering this is a token one should feel proud of obtaining, others believe that the conditions should be harder. Consequently, the requisits being an AAA on a difficulty 85, or higher, resulting in less members unlocking [EDIT]. List of FGOs: This is not an official list of FGO difficulties, a but mix of stavie33’s unofficial list and the currently non-updated one in the R1 Difficulties Thread.
I believe there should be an Otaku Speedvibe [Edit] Skill Token, and that the requirements for it should be even higher than an AAA on an 85 difficulty (AAA an 87, or even an 86) so even less members could attain it. You may say I’m being bias because I’m supposedly good and can perhaps accomplish it, but raising it up isn't as hard as it seems, especially in the long run considering how good members in general are becoming. Please, refrain from spamming the thread with how hard this Skill Token would be to possess because you may find [Oni] hard to get already. Also, try not to be bias on the subject of skills because even if you’re not quite there, there’s always room for improvements and it’ll make the Skill Token that much more privileged when it’s yours, knowing you’re among the best. Discuss your thoughts of an Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT] Skill Token, as well as its requirements. Also, someone brought up a good point believing that an [EDIT] version may not be very promising, step wise. By playing a submitted one that’s not an official in-game version, its fun, but mostly challenging and other members have agreed. Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT] Supporters:

Re: Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
To be recognized on this list, do we have to get the AAA after this post?
Just wondering, because I have three FGO AAAs, haha. EDIT: Almost forgot to post; it's a great idea. Make a token that only a very few amount of people can get. EDIT 2: GAH, all of my FGO AAAs are below that line. xD Last edited by TC_Halogen; 06-25-2009 at 06:13 PM.. |

Re: Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
100% support for this, I think AAA an 86+ is a sufficient requirement, but maybe 87 would be good too
EDIT: Isn't it a bit silly for WC to not be automatically on the list?

Re: Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
This is a great idea (since I was the one who thought of it originally). Those of you who want to say "it's too hard", think about this. When [Oni] was first introduced people said "it's too hard". Only a handful of people were able to get it. Now, over 400 people have it. People will improve and eventually this token will be easier to get and it might even eventually become too easy like [Oni] did.

Re: Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
With you 100% thumbs up up up!! And I actually have a chance at this too! Also, I'm going to make another unofficial update of JX's threads with songs that have messed up difficulties

I'm gonna have to work a bit harder to get this token if it actually happens. That's a pretty rough (at this time), but doable requirement. I like it--pushes the good players to their limits (unless you're Sprite since he has average rank 1, harhar). Quote:

Well hello there!

Re: Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
+1 I love the idea. It seems that [Oni] is too easy anymore. Many people unlock [Oni] and say it was easier than unlocking some of the other Skill Tokens. I personally have not unlocked either of the current Otaku Speedvibe tokens but I still believe there needs to be a new goal to look forward to "Achieving the Impossible" due to the number of people that have already shown that [Oni] is achievable.

Re: Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
So far, no one has rejected the idea of there being an [EDIT] Skill Token. How hard should the requirement be: AAA on an 85+, 86+, 87+, higher?
Discuss.

Re: Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
There, I left it alone, and my best bet on it is Holy Orders, as I can get AAA on every part except the 32nd trills, I think that's my best bet

Re: Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
I think it should be 86+ because files like lolo and reality are more like high FMO's imo.

Re: Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
I've already stated my stance. 86+, 85's are too easy, I could AAA NNT, Pants, or AR, but above that I'm screwed
EDIT: Nobody said anything would happen to ONI, Trav.

Re: Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
As far as the file cut-off--I'd probably say 85 because it includes Across Rooftops and Holy Orders; those songs have 2 and 1 AAA(s), respectively. Just make a certain few 85's unlock it, I guess?
EDIT: In any case, if you don't want to draw a line, 86 is good. |

Re: Otaku Speedvibe [EDIT]
Awesome idea Sprite! I definitely support this! 8)
In my opinion, 85 or higher sounds good. Anything higher is just pushing it.
