if hunter targets person A, it is impossible for A to win. either the hunter wins, or person B wins.

statistically, the hunter will win 50% of the time, and the other two players will split the other 50%.

this means that in a game with three teams, whoever gets hunter last basically gets to eliminate one other person at will, leaving it at 50/50 with the hunter and the other person.
