TWG Turbo 41: Trust Fall! [GAME THREAD]

I had a post typed up to Lar when he gets here but I deleted it since I think I sounded like an ass
the tl;dr is that I don't know that you ever really have had a good handle on what I do/don't do as town/wolf
but I expect you to pursue relentlessly the idea that I would never do what I have done as town (try and leave with Haku)

Someone needs to trust fall someone successfully before the first 72 hours or we're basically game throwing.
This is not a normal game. The notions of convincing everyone to stir a vote toward a target does not apply here.

This means we need to figure out the properties of priorities here. (weird wording I know)
For me, this translates into checking who's free posting (seems natural/genuine, could be lost, but how they're lost makes sense etc.) vs

• if someone has self-conservative habits (holding back information) (no power role here and no voting so, no reason to hold back)
• feign ignorance (dumb tell too hard)
• seems like they have too much information (incredibly precise calls, seems to town read every town, always seems to be at the right place at the right time etc.)
• trying to mimic others, but seems to pursue nothing (pretending to do something, commentary, no one knows if they lean any players a certain alignment)
• posts in a way to actively stop town to move toward a certain conclusion (discourage certain talks, disengage conversation, interfere open ended topics etc.)

I feel like I just described how I play as wolf. Forget this I guess. (or not)

There might be a safer play for trust fall than Me/Sunfan this checkpoint is pretty much my conclusion right now.

I didn't have much to add to anyone's "actual" reads at the time because they're based on vibes and the actual, real point is to have records to consult later anyway. Add the fact that I've been incredibly short on time and I didn't bother engaging as much as I'm sure you would have like.

You can slant me wolf for this but before you do, in all seriousness, tell me what about those 3 reads you gave back their was super valuable that it deserved me pumping the breaks on thread and going back and really combing over.

I just don't want to rush, but if I have a good feeling about someone I would want to act on it. But I honestly can't be assed to read the thread all the way through in this jank ass mobile forum when I'll be back at my pc tomorrow afternoon so I don't have any of those feelings atm

My kneejerk reaction is that you're wrong
But if I'm being honest I have absolutely been wrong about you at least half the time over the years. I think that's why I'm always so paranoid because you've proven over and over that youre a fantastic player that can dupe me the minute I give you any lead way

It also means I get frustrated when I think you are playing suboptimal, but in truth I don't always post before considering that you and I never fully agree on what optimal even means

I woke up and reading catch up, it hurt me too, like a second of pain/pressure in the middle of my upper chest then it was gone. I knew I'd have an empathetic response to stuff like that this game.

Moe/Toko/Cham: I like the direction of making reads but I'm obviously gonna disagree with the one for me, and I find the justification for it pure weak sauce.

Lewdy: you've asked a lot of questions but I think what Cham saw in my interaction is what I'm seeing in yours: there's no fucking fire in you getting the answer. You've started playing lifelessly. Youve said a lot of stuff but emotionally I don't know where you stand even though I could probably ISO an answer, but in a game like this I gotta be able to feel it too

Freezin: you had such a strong presence at first and I feel like you got bored of the game. Like Lewdy, where's that FIRE

Duc: I live in Pensacola I understand the lure of the beach, but when you're here you gotta leave more of an impression. I have to agree with Moe on his read of ya

Raeko: there's a part of me that wants you to be town so we can make a bunch of Ayu song references as we dip out of this fucker but you're kinda in the same boat as Freezin in that you've dropped off.
