I'm somehow convinced this game entrance is genuinely the 2 wolves jumping in the game first before anyone town had a chance to say something to start a conversation. I don't feel like they're evaluating each other either. I was surprised when MML defended Freezin. I'm probably too game oriented tbf.

I kind of don't understand everyone's end game here. Why are we jumping in irl stuff and just do whatever ? I don't mind some casual posting and I understand we have new players, but there's still a game happening with a clear deadline established and no apparent answer to the question "who will save who before the deadline?"

I spent the last game watching town self-destruct because nothing was happening. I'm just hoping we don't have a repeat.

I hate to leave just as the new players are showing up but it's almost midnight here and frankly I've kept Lanna up as late as I feel comfortable doing lol

Movies: The Princess Bride, Pokemon 4Ever, Airplane! (even if some things in there haven't aged the best, it formed a good chunk of my sense of humor)
Video Games: Civilization 5, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, Later Alligator (please please please play this one, it's so good)
Board Games: Snake Oil, Tokaido, Forbidden Island
Album: Daft Punk - Alive 2007 (I generally don't pay attention to albums and just vibe with specific artists and songs in general, so I'll just mention Ephixa, Varien, and Au5 here (yes I grew up on Monstercat how could you tell))
Books: Daytripper, House of Leaves (even if I haven't finished it yet), I guess the Naruto manga? (I don't read much, lol)
Town Picks: I don't know man I'm just a Char

Under the circumstances stipulated I suppose right now I'd say Lar (not just because you're asking this), Lewdy, and Duc, but I don't feel great about any of those reads just yet

Thank you for the offer! I'm kind of selfishly learning it right now because a lot of visual novels are Japanese but I hear you make progress a lot faster in speaking it if you have someone to practice with so ill reach out if I go that direction (or if I just get stuck on learning something lol)

And yeah you get used to the overnights but it's not really easy. Especially when you have friends that don't work overnight and do things when you are normally asleep.

There's perks though, I guess overall I'm ok with it.

No problem! It's kind of selfish for me too because I'll get better the more I practice as well, lol.

That was what killed me about my closing shifts. Work late while your friends are available, friends are asleep when you get off work, and your friends work while you sleep. It just doesn't allow you to do anything with anyone, and that sucks.

isn't going to work here, you are stuck with the wolves all game. Are you going to just try to socially box suspicious people out for 10 days straight? That's a long time to convince a group of people to ignore someone who is trying to interact with them, and a long time for those same people to spend not second guessing themselves or changing their minds

So like it or not, what we are doing catching up on life and just chilling is actually OPTIMAL TWG PLAY. Wow bet that made your brain explode huh? Everyone needs someone they are comfortable leaving with and we won't get to that position at sword point or under duress.

So just chill out

Yes, we're all aware of the goal, but I think it's important that we all establish a small pool of people.

We are also 27 hours into a 72 day phase. There is plenty of time for moves to be made by people

Also I had 1.5k posts to get comfortable with being my towny self so I think my vibe posting game has seriously leveled up. It took a bit to get over being distraught about the old forums being gone but now I feel like I'm in my element and I'm confident I can make everyone's experience in this game better for as long as you'll have me here

It's rather ironic that I'm saying this given my play over the last 24 hours because I am so used to Turbos being 12 hour phases, I needed to take a few hours to step away and re-evaluate the game as a whole before coming back to it.
