Should we try to keep the more obvious top town players in the game to make the end game for wolves more difficult ?

there's a kind of game that we would run in video mafia called a king game; the tldr is if we had 16 people in a game, 16 is a very awkward number for balancing a game, so we would just run a 15-player setup, but there would be a king (probably we would call it a monarch now) who would decide the kill at the end of each day

I forget where I was going with this, some part of your post reminded me of this

the games were mostly fairly lame, and they fell out of favor at some point.

I still think you were trying to pocket me near the start of the game over a shared connection and my new player status but I'm willing to admit paranoia on this if your reads/posts stand up to scrutiny.

I genuinely can't see a world where I will trust fall with you at this point in the game but that doesn't mean it's a 0% chance. It would just take a lot of effort and convincing for me to do so.

Freezin: Are you going to give reads aside from your null read on sun from a while back or nah? Do you still think sun is null?
I appreciate you trying to come up with a way to play this out with the quarantine idea but a framework doesn't substitute your lack of reads atm, I feel.

Haku: As the current most town-read player, who would you feel most comfortable leaving the game with right now?
I do worry about reaching the checkpoint at the current rate the game is going, and I agree that if we do so, town pretty much throws the game. I really feel like everyone will be fine with whatever you wanna do. Also if you're somehow a wolf, I don't even know what to say.

To answer my own question, I would probably say haku/raeko, as per my earlier read list.

This is actually quite a wonderful idea! Wolves would absolutely bite at the chance to get out of the game quickly with someone new and force a win on their end, so us sticking around does nothing but force them to play deeper

You should DEFINITELY be more open minded
Firstly, because I am town
Secondly, because, and I don't mean this because you're new or I'm experienced and big and scary, because I don't think you ought to be worried about that stuff and it doesn't seem like you are
there isn't a chance that you're that right on someone this early, regardless of who it is

this game WILL force towns to reevalute their opinions or lose the game

I'm not really trying to be read town here. That's just going to be a consequence of my actions that will come naturally if I want it to or not.

Time for me to give a hot take that will cause me to get hit by hammers

If we arnt going with my Quarantine idea I'm on the borderline of thinking a reads list seems kind of whatever, it's just a tool to air out suspicion and subtly point the finger of shame (tm) at specific people. The issue is without the threat of a lynch this means nothing, and socially it only means as much as each individual person is willing to give it credence.

To puf it a different way, no matter how much you think someone is or isn't wolfy in a normal twg, the end result of a end of day vote for a lynch is a universal constant in TWG. Death means the same thing no matter what the reasons are or what people think about it. And death is universally undesirable in TWG as either faction 99 times out of 100 so the threat of it keeps people in line

Without that threat in this game, what is considered normal TWG play becomes an invisible fence, a toothless threat. I could just sit around and do nothing all day or act in a way that seems extremely shady by the common metric of TWG play and as long as 1 person isn't bothered by it my behavior won't be punished. That's the main difference that people don't seem to be grasping here.

So Toko, no I will not be giving a reads list. Not now. Maybe not ever, who can say? Why does it matter that everyone knows who I'm suspicious of? Free your mind

With regards to my reads list, I need time...I cannot pump this out in a short span of time because I'll have to ISO everyone

With regards to nominating two players to I guess we can say "date each other"
