How were Afro/Hans cleared up Talisman?
Was all this TPS conversation from last night? Cause it seems a little similar to two nights ago.
If TPS gets lynched today, which is now looking likely, I'd like to point out I have no idea what the hell he is talking about in regards to me.

I'd love to know what transpired to switch attention away from Afro, who was 1 vote from insta. I sure hope it was not the fact that he proclaimed to people he was dead. It was pretty clear to anyone who knows how to count that there were only 5 votes on Afro... Mead makes a mistake, Afro uses it to capitalize. Its a possibility... but, even I am going to have to admit, the evidence against Afro and Hans is becoming a long string of nonprobable moves that would have all had to have been calculated.

Why then is there no reference to the "mystery 3rd pair"? Aren't they now the most likely candidates?



In regards to the comment made in the chat log posted about me getting pissy and leaving... I'm not sure if that was supposed to be a reference to me being a wolf or just me being me, but I'll confirm the fact that it is just me being me. Hard to prove, considering there were only about 2 games ever (3, including this game...) that I've been attacked as a human. AND the reference infers to me being a wolf, since 2 of the past 3 games I was a wolf. I just get so mad, that I literally want to punch right through my laptop, which would be not so good.

I really hope y'all know what you're doing, cause as it stands, I don't see TPS as being a wolf.

Tass, I think the switch started once TPS changed his behavior completely. You can see that in my post on page 16. Most everyone saw what was going on in the chat, most of which I didn't provide. But basically, TPS was being a 'tard to Afro and Hans because he was sure they would get lynched. Once I called TPS on his comment about you definitely being "not a wolf", he changed instantly. He came in later in the thread and asked why he couldn't think logically. Well, if he did intend to think logically from the start, he wouldn't have started to act in chat the way he did intially.

Also, here's the deal. I was thinking we should definitely go after Afro/Hans because they were known and with them gone only the unknown pairs would be left, so the wolves would probably hit one of the pairs and narrow it down to who else it could be. I felt Afro/Hans were most suspicious, but the added benefit that they're known and the others aren't made it so that I felt killing them would guarantee victory, whether they were wolves or not.

I have since rethought this, realizing that Afro, Hans, and Tass won't get wolfed, regardless of whether or not they are wolves. This is because 1) they're all pretty highly suspected by a lot of people, 2) the longer they're alive, the more they get suspected, and 3) I just said they won't, so if the wolves do it then they've just helped me (go ahead, kill them, make my fucking day). So I figure if we leave them alone, that leaves us with 3 pairs and 2 widows. We lynch a widow today, and tonight the wolves will most likely kill either the other widow (proving that the one we lynched was a wolf) or one of the pairs, revealing that that pair is human. Thus, keeping Afro/Hans will narrow down the wolves' choices, meaning they'll be more likely to kill off pairs and narrow down our choices of possible wolves.

I feel comfortable sharing all this publicly because there's really nothing the wolves can do. If they try to be tricksy and kill one of their pair, that will cost them a much needed day. As it is, we may be going down to the wire because there are 3 wolves left and we are running out of days. The wolves were smart about killing one of their own to confuse us, so I'd like to think that they would know better than to do it again. I still won't tell any widows anything, so it's not like you'll be getting in on the alliance. Also, me posting all this pretty much locks the wolves to attacking the pair or widows and narrowing down the list.

Also, Afro was right. I wasn't 100% set on killing him, but I wanted to really seem that way in order to draw people out. When you're a wolf and the alliance leader seems set on killing a couple of people you know aren't your teammates, and in doing so would push the game very close to the end, you tend to get cocky. TPS was being more than ridiculous last night, and everybody saw it. This was not the usual TPS trickery, it was sillyness that TPS shouldn't've displayed. It detracted from the conversation, first of all, and wait a second, didn't TPS want us to take him seriously a couple days ago? What ever happened to that, buddy?

PS: Afro is hilarious when he's on the verge of dying and has given up all hope. Chris, if you're lying to me I'll stab you in the post-game. And if you're ever a wolf in the future and don't tell me when you're about to die, I'll stab you even more.

eb, just one SMALL error in your statement... unless my math is way off here, there are 3 widows and 3 pairs left + eb + guardian = 11. You said 2 widows and 3 pairs. That is impossible. It is either 3/3 + eb/guardian OR 2 widows and 4 pairs and the guardian is dead.

Other than that, I can see exactly your strategy and its definately solid. Not the inital theory on why to kill Afro/Hans... that is semi-retarded, but after that it is good enough.

Also, you keep forgetting that the wolves COULD kill the guardian... which would be the 1 chink in your plan, that I can see. Figure there are 3 cases, right? Either Afro/Hans are the wolf pair, in which case they only know 1 of the other 4 masons (me)... leaving 3 + guardian + 3 widows - tps = 6 choices for guardian - their 3rd wolf = 5 (unless tps is 3rd, then still 6). Case 2: Unknown pair is the wolves, they know me and afro/hans, leaving 1 person unknown in the mason pairs (my partner). That is 1 + guardian + 3 widows - tps = 4 possibles (3 if tps is not a wolf)... take my word for it that if myself and my partner are the wolves (case 3), its right smack in the middle... 4 possibles, assuming tps is not a wolf.

SO: in eb's mind, it is either 1/5, 1/4, or 1/3 (or 1/6, 1/5, 1/4 if tps is a wolf) of getting the guardian. So, yes, odds are low, but it should still be something you plan for eb. Realistically, the wolves SHOULD be trying to kill the guardian so they can kill you in a day or two... which, as you said, leaves afro, hans, and myself alive.

And, as eb said above, I feel comfortable saying this because it should be fairly common knowledge anyway.

And, with that... I leave for Philly. Will be home in 3-4 hours... and Whorli and I are going to LA tomorrow for her sister's bat mitzvah. Will be doing airport+flying for figure 8 hours on friday and 8 hours of sunday... maybe 9-10... So, thats a heads up.
