EDIT: Trashed most of the steps I was doing for that one song... I was getting into one of those habits where I'm trying to accomodate for every sound in the song. Sounds / looks cool, makes sense (from a technical standpoint), but there's no fun factor at all. I'm still having trouble trying to define some sort of style for my stepcharting. I'll get with a method, but I'll always find problems with however I approach it. This is trial and error for me, and I feel like I'm getting closer to making a 'good' stepfile, rather than just repeated patterns. Right now I've just been playing my favorite files over and over and seeing what exactly it is that I like about them so much. I've spent 4 hours on the file and I feel like I've gotten nowhere... I'm going to sleep. -_-

If anybody has any general advice, I'd appreciate it.

Music diversity is great, but there's a limit, guys XD

edit: Then again, Kilga's handbell file was amazing, and I love the song, so maybe not. Just make sure that, if it's some weird obscure form of music, it sounds good.

I think everyone that's posted in this thread has played it. Take Time is a great song. All I meant was that just because the song is something different, that doesn't necessarily mean it's good.
