(Is ap going to, like, reject every song that isn't jazz or completely obscure? Because I think you could still make an innovative simfile to music that isn't necessarily completely innovative. The music can't be boring, certainly, but it doesn't have to be, y'know, total genius wacko.)

I'm mostly working on ****ed up music. TSM, PTSB etc...

Ironically, there's a song by Liquid Tension Experiment called Paradigm Shift. I have an edit of the song if anybody wants it- it has some potential- I think it would need a good stepartist behind it though.

Unless everyone is picking lolz jazz ztreamz zimflyez I don't think there's going to be much of a problem. There is a lot of diversity in jazz.
