Head over to the FFR Batch Forum for all the details on how you can get your file into the game. The Artist Permissions forum section will help you find out if FFR has permission to use the song your file goes with.
If the judgement made on ap's ban holds out, don't lose focus on what's been set here. Sure, it won't be R^n, but the message remains: do more original stuff.
If there's an upside to any of this, it's that the major packs are basically over. The rate of single simfile submissions should go back to about what it was just before the production of F4.
[17:52:34] <aperson> Tell everyone r^n is cancelled
[17:52:38] <aperson> I'm too lazy to mirror it to my site
[17:52:42] <aperson> so I'm not going to bother
The two-day ban on AP for calling Jurs a bitch was the requisite "hey, you're acting up, stop it" slap on the wrist.
It wasn't a year ban, it was a two day ban.

post-dumps abstractly represent the existential nihilism that the song invokes in the listener with negative space, evoking the ephemeral nature of the mind - the journey of stepmania begins in hope yet soon becomes corroded into a dialectic of futility, leaving only a sense of dread and the unlikelihood of a new synthesis
He was banned for two days before for calling Jurs a bitch multiple times. Then, he posted another thread about her as soon as he was unbanned, and now he's banned for a year. At least, that's how I understand it.
I think most of you guys are entirely missing aperson's point as what he wishes to see being in this pack. It's nothing personal against any creator, it's just a statement that the average file is a steady 16th stream (ala quasar, OML, etc.). I don't see any creativity in keyboard files. I can't make them, but I don't think the average simfile creator can, either. A file can be solid and follow the music, but still may not be fun. Stepmania shouldn't be about hitting one big 16th stream, (IMHO) it should be moreso about a creative interpretation of music translated into a 4-arrow format. This is difficult, if not near impossible [Capturing the essence of a musical piece in 4 arrows]. I'm not even going to start about the limits of complexity regarding SM, but it is an issue when trying to do something truly original and sophisticated. My 2 cents.
