That's why. They seem to be saying "it's ok to give the wolves all the info and leave us in the dark."

It's the SAME EXACT thing Tass did last game.

Yeah I know what you mean, but none of those mentioned are known for being great wolves either.

Hell, nforcer is the most senior player I named, right? I can't even ever think of him being a wolf before.

That's because he hasn't been ever.

Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

hey quick question, if its so good to trade master wolf for seer, hwo come a wolf doesn't fake being seer every single other a game a seer has come out? that's the exact same thing, no?

Of two people do happen to dig in the same spot, you won't know that you were one of them if the other person gets the statue.

You'll see that the statue was found, but you won't know that it was in your square.

DBP we don't know that the statue is found if it is... only if you happen to dig in the same spot at the same time someone else does (and that it's the correct spot) do you know that it has been found.

Because in the other games, the seer wasn't the only blue floating around, so even with a seer dead there was still the strong possibility of an alliance forming or even a simple spread of information (psychic). The MW is better off trying to get seered to learn as much as he can rather than do a suicide strike.

In this game the seer is the only blue as long as no one has found the statue (and the only other potential blue can actually help the wolves if one of them finds the statue), so getting rid of it is worth the life of a wolf.

thank you kilga that makes sense, I think I disagree that an alliance can be formed around a guardian or psychic in other games, but i see the argument. Makes sense

                            Thanks for the clarification, though.

Afro, are you kidding me? Seriously, are you kidding? EVERY STRATEGY presented so far has a benefit to the humans, with some sort of risk that might help the wolves in some way. The thing with this game is, either we're going to be stabbing in the dark all game, hoping to get wolves, or we actually take a chance to have a better chance of getting the wolves by trying something that has a better chance of succeeding and failing, and even if it fails, it's not a TOTAL loss.

Maybe you don't realize it, Afro, or maybe you do... that this is not the only game that has risks in it that normally help humans, but can also potentially help wolves. In the game I hosted, iggy seered fish, and he came up human... as the master wolf. So, fish was trusted and slipped into the alliance. You know what happened? The humans won. Perfect example of how a mistake on the humans' part does not spell a loss overall.

I think Talisman's strategy might work best if we pull it off correctly. Of course, Afrobean is going to tell you there's a risk involved, but he obviously doesn't want to help the humans by trying something that can help us.

Oh, one more thing. We have no reason to trust anybody that has the statue unless we try something. If we want to lynch somebody (and we lynch people because we think they're wolves), and they're found to be holding the statue, what are we going to think the next day? Hmm? "Lucky wolf, he's dead for sure now. We'll just lynch him again." We need to at least try to find something that gives us some kind of insurance, or we'll be running around like blind men and women in an alligator pit.

So yeah, the statue REALLY helps if we don't know who's holding it. [/sarcasm] No strategy is the best strategy, huh, Afrobean?

EDIT: for grammar, clarifications, and such.
