Funny enough my friend and I hung out for the first time a while a few months ago and we ended up getting super drunk mixing livewire and Jagermeister

I will admit in that, Livewire definitely came out on top. It's a lot better at being mixed with alcohol than Code Red

Imagine super robot wars but really really long with a really good story and world building and pretty much everything you could ask for from a strategy RPG.

Although it seems like you like what you see so it's cool that your getting it for switch.

I rarely use my switch anymore, Steam Deck has kind of replaced it as my hub for niche games combined with portability. They really struck gold making this thing, I can barely imagine gaming without it

Brother when I drink (I am actively making an effort to quit, and holy shit is it ever difficult as a boozer) I tend to NOT enjoy waking up the next morning with zero memory of the night

Speaking of my steam deck I'm still going to circle back to Monster Girl 1000 Lewdy. I don't like that you absolutely blew me away when I started it before you and my steam deck homepage would not stop rubbing it in my face as you got all those achievements.

Dunno why I lost interest, the battle and equip system seemed really interesting and had the potential to be really great if they built on them later. Dunno when I'll find the time but it will be soon (tm)

I wish I could join but other then like, literal one birthday shot I've quit for health reasons.

In my mind this is public info but if you guys didn't know, I literally almost died roughly 9 months ago from unchecked diabetes and sort of had to make some hard decisions.

I'm off the shots already, btw. Been managing it through diet alone. Told that's sort of unheard of but I wake up with my readings under 90 most days so good news: I got better

Amazing news I'm glad your doing better Lar!

My dad was in a similar situation and radically changed his diet. This was almost 15 years ago and he hasn't had any diabetes related issues since. Doctors were worried about complications and iirc want to prescribe diabetes medications and treatment plans but I think he just hand waved them all off. He already had back issues from a work injury so probably didn't want even more medicine and grief.

Looks like your on a similar path and hopefully you have no diabetes issues in the future

Yeah I can understand, steam deck is definitely for a certain type of person but it's a godsend for them.

I dislike playing games on my PC so I feel like steam deck is catered to me in that sense, the access to the steam library without needing to sit at a PC to play it.

And yeah it is quite the pain financially, had to save a while and work overtime so the hit wouldn't disrupt things too bad but looking back it was a great decision. If you are happy with what you already have there's no reason to jump up and get one though

I can see why people go on 4 medicines and still struggle, and definitely have more sympathy for those who can't help but break their diet under stress
