Another point is that none of us right now is trying to make any of you leave with us. I think that's another way to see that we're all town. A wolf here would want to pair with you rather than suggest you to pair with someone else.

The only logical reason for Lewdy to wait is it he felt his partner needed help in securing their exit is if their partner is new and felt they needed help.

Raeko does not need Lewdy 's help and with their existing friendship, Lewdy would have sooner said "haha peace!" Then stick around
