Hello. It was not my intention to double drop the joke. I got an error trying to post and had to refresh the page. I had to cut and paste my original post and it double copied parts of it. I had an intense inner battle over whether or not I should edit it or delete it instead and pretend it never happened but in the end I decided to leave it as is.

Trying to get dinner at Wal Mart and make it home so I can do a bunch of unpacking but dropping some thoughts here with more full post late today

-To answer burning questions about reads: Freezin traditionally hates early phases as Vanilla Town and is my only real "real" read---which may not even apply because the forum taking a shit ding metamorphosis would have been compelling enough for VT Freezie to post i wrote Duc is Sus because it was funny and I trusted most people to get that I wouldn't have a real read on someone who hadn't even posted yet. Let's see where we stand right now...We're 22 hours in and almost everyone has checked in

Haku is doing Haku things which I'm genuinely scared of about 99% of the time.
Sunfan seems to be low energy and seems to be rolling on the same wavelength as me (Just waiting for something to happen)
Don't ask me why, but gut reading Lar slightly towny for now
I can't read Freezin but a few see him as wolfy? (I believe that was Greg and one other? I'll have to go back)
I like Tokomi! They seem to be rather inquisitive and chiming in when they can
Duc I'd like to hear a bit more from
Roundbox is trending downward just due to the lack of activity (I know it's early on and Raeko disclosed why, but come on brother, at least say hello and "Enjoy" the new forum with the rest of us)
I'm going to give Galaxy a pass as a newbie for now but PLEASE chime in. We ain't getting anywhere without you!

Sometimes it just feels like it's easier to be a character than to put yourself out there. Especially when doing something new. But seeing as this is a serious game where honesty gets you farther ( so says ShadoWolfe) it's probably best to not draw on my preteen experience of warrior cats MySpace rp to become a sad clown.

I got completely snowed by wolf team in a flipless setup I was playing on MU, now that it's mercifully finally over I can devote my full attention to this game

Coming up on the end of my workweek after today, maybe I'll feel better once I start posting from a computer

Ironic, in the game I was playing everyone was having a miserable time and I was just happily vibeposting and having a great time even as stuff fell apart around me (we had no idea things were going terribly because it was mad17 and players flipped as roles not alignments). But that game definitely would've benefitted if I was more locked in on mechanics

And in this game to be successful will probably just come down to not being a miserable person and vibeposting but as of right now I just can't bring that energy

everyone was spilling their guts about their life so I guess I'll do a sample platter of that, everything is still the same for me basically. Still working night shift at the same job I've been at for almost 5 years. Nothing really exciting happening, playing games and reading in my spare time. I still play a ton of gacha games.

What else....very slowly learning Japanese but it's rough going. Play the harmonica when I'm bored. Play mahjong on my phone when I'm even more bored. Yeah I guess that's everything

This was a discussion topic for an eventual time travel game that was run by StoicRoivaS circa 2007, TWG 50. It got canceled on day 2 due to inactivity but having hosted 2 previous time travel turbo games without knowing this game even existed, I find the way he implemented time travel mechanics to be absolutely fascinating.

I think with some polish and refurbishing it could make for a whacky game that would be lots of fun. Hosting it would also be a nice challenge that I feel like I would be up to (after doing some prep work of course.)
