So I work at a grocery store, as a cashier. Tonight, I worked the closing shift, from 5:00 to 10:30, but if I want to buy things before leaving, I have to do it at 10:00. So I'm like "alright," and I buy a 12-pack of beer. Half an hour comes and goes, and I leave happily with my beer, and it's only a 2-minute walk back to my home, so I was holding the case by one hand...

... Only then, the handle broke. And the case fell. And Every. Single. Bottle. Broke.

Now I'm none too pleased about this, because I have to wait until tomorrow morning to get a refund/exchange, if one is even possible. I mean it should be, since it's the case's fault! But anyway, that ruined my night...

The tourney's starting in a few weeks, meaning I just got a ton of motivation to get good again after slacking off since, oh, about the end of Hi19's tourney. Trying to get in at least an hour a day of FFR/SM, usually more, to get up to speed and compete with my better scores. I've already beaten a few of my older scores that weren't that great but that were good anyway, so I guess that's progress!

This isn't because I'm a mean or sour person or anything. I don't like having a friend's list cluttered with a dozen names of people I've never spoken with before. There may be some exceptions, say, if we've spoken at least indirectly on the forums. However, random adds is a big no-no.

Now I need a few things. For one, a job to pay for university. For two, some waiting before I actually get responses. For three, some decision making.

I explain. I applied for a university that's really close to my parents' houses, in both physical and electrical engineering, where 90% of my current Cégep friends are going to go to study. I also applied for a uni that's farther away, but still in Québec, where I'll have to live on campus or in an apartment, also in electrical engineering, though in both co-op and non-co-op. All other factors aside, I'd prefer to study in the far away university, due to, well, a part of the course load dedicated to nanotechnology. But then I'll know nobody and live on my own - which has both its good and its bad sides, so I dunno. And then I'd also prefer the co-op program, but I'm not sure about that either. So yeah.

Those are my grand preoccupations in life right now. I'll work it out. :>
