Alright, you’ve been begging and pleading for us to get the show on the road, and we’ve listened! The 5th official FFR tournament starts NOW!
For all the juicy details you can head on over to the official thread, but for the main page just a few things:
1. NEW TOURNAMENT DASHBOARD!
This time around, we have a new feature thanks to the amazing lightdarkness (that’s me!) – The Dashboard. It will be the center for information during the course of the tournament. It will provide you with info such as what round we are in, when the round ends, the songs for each division, and even the scores for each player in each division, etc. You can see for yourself
2. NEW Score submissions
The biggest change to this tournament is the way scores will be submitted – you don’t have to do anything! When you play the song for your division, the score will automatically be recorded to the tournament stats, which you can view on the dashboard. That means NO MORE SCREENSHOTS! I repeat – You DO NOT need to take a screenshot to submit scores for this tournament. All scores are automatically submitted, and it will only keep the highest score which means you can play it as many times as you want and it will only keep the highest score. This makes life a LOT easier for everyone.
As I said earlier, more information can be found in the official thread, so check that out, then head on over to the dashboard to view your division, and see what song you have to play!

I like it! But two things…
…doesn’t have the date the current round ends.
…doesn’t have an elimination line. It has “green” for AAAs and “yellow” for non-played, but you don’t know where the elimination threshold is.

there is a cutoff point at the bottom of the chart. If your name is not on the chart, you’re below the elimination line.
But will you be able to see your past progress, and anyone elses, after eliminations?

Just read the forum post, it says how many eliminations there will be at each round. Then see if you’re within the number.

people in green have AAAd, people with no colour are safe, people in yellow are in danger of being eliminated.

MI4 REAL – Members with 0′s at the end of the week will be cut whether they are below or above the yellow line. Looks like division 1 will be shortened faster the first round since over half of the players have 0′s.

Is it just me, or is the dashboard still showing JUST the results from last week? It’s 2 days into the 2nd week right now, and I’ve only seen the current scores for this week one time.

I wish I could’ve edited my last post. But yes, I know what this weeks songs are, and yes I have been clicking on the dashboard (and refreshing the dashboard page) multiple times a day. But, for me, the dashboard shows this weeks songs and ONLY last weeks results.

Me too. It once showed me the week 2 but it went away. It showed the people who got eliminated in red. And a bunch of other colors. It had yellow, light yellow, gray, and green.

if you read the official thread is says “Round 1 will end Tuesday July 21st at 11:59PM EDT” so ya were guna have to wait a little longer i geuss…
…not sure why they made the first round longer then a week, seems silly to me.

If you have IE7, you will not be able to view the new dashboard. upgrade to IE8 or get firefox or something similar. Round 2 ends on Tuesday July 21st at 11:59PM EDT. they mustve made an error when they said round 1.
