At any rate, I think maybe the gun lynch was a little misguided. He's been dead weight true, but I think his defense seemed pretty sincere. He just seemed resigned and disappointed, if anything, but his demeanor was indicative of human.

Further, that's two lynches Zoshi has barely scraped by for no real reason except luck and what seems like people just being bored of waiting for a conclusion to the day and making weird choices as afterthoughts.

I'll be voting for Zoshi next day phase once again.

Vic, you make a good point. V's point about no one coming to Zoshi's defense is/was a good one, but the way this day ended (FOJAR!), it probably constitutes analyzing how and why the general mob mentality shifted from Zoshi to Gun. Was it guided, or was it what Vicc said, boredom.

you had manti, myself, and you which gathered a ton of momentum, and this was coming on the heels of that logic i stated which was compelling

what we did see that was heartening WAS that people were resistant to lynching gun which is what i hope for in any good lynch

Further, no one coming to Zoshi's defense doesn't really tell you much. At one point he was a vote away from lynch. There is a point at which you would defend a wolf partner and a point at which you let them go. The only reason a wolf wouldn't want to accept the loss in this scenario would be the loss of the master wolf right out of the gate but even then, if someone is going to die on your team you have no reason to defend them because it would just implicate you.
