It turns out in this game if the town roleblocker and scum roleblocker block each other, the scum kill still goes through.

I thought the whole point of waiting for xel was to kill or not kill shadow. If xel did shoot then shadow dies but if xel didn't shoot then shadow couldn't have made the kill

This was the idea, yes. For that purpose Xiz blocked me so I couldn't do anything anyway
