Prologue -

My second official in D5. Last time, I was supposed to be D4, but I was only in there because of lolcomboing so I asked to be bumped up. This time though, the tourney is raw scoring, so no excuses to be D4 again :P I'm a little rusty, but I've been playing a bit and getting scores that are up to par with my old scores so I think I can do fairly well this time around, especially if we get files that play to my stengths.

Ok, it's already the 27th, and I have well over 500 restarts on this already and I feel absolutely pathetic that I'm supposedly D5 and I can hardly sdg a VC. I'm just super rusty, and the file doesn't play to my strengths so it's rather discouraging. A run down of the song for me:

That first minijack/glut thing: I can't do this AT ALL on non-mirror, I get anywhere from 1 to 5 goods. On mirror, I can hit is about 50% of the time.

The part up to the first set of trills: I can do this about equally on mirror and non-mirror. These minijacks mess me up. I probably AAA this section 5% of the time.

The first set of trills: I always tend to get a good or five in the first five seconds because of trying to transition into it. Also, I can one hand trill just fine, but I occasionally psyche myself out and dump 5 goods on the one hand trills and I tend to split the jumps in these trills as well.

The part between the two sets of trills: I can not do this section for the love of god at all on non-mirror. This section isn't too bad on mirror for me, but it's still quite difficult as the bursts layered in with the jacks causes my hands to freeze up sometimes and I'll miss.

The second set of trills: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! That slow down makes this so hard! I'll get anywhere from 1 to 15 goods on this trill, typically between 5 and 6 though on average runs. This trill will kill any possible good run I have on mirror or non-mirror.

The part after the second set of trills:
On mirror, this part is difficult, I can't do left-handed jacks too well. On non-mirror, this part isn't too bad, I'm bad at jacks, but they are at a doable speed for me. I always freak out on those jumpjacks, but I typically AAA them somehow, lol.

Overall: The entire file is hard, I honestly see no way to get over the cutoff at this point, I honestly give up, see all of you next year.

It's been a great year with all of you guys, the community is really the only reason I still play this rather silly game :P I just want to thank everyone, particularly my TB peeps and some other people, for being there when I needed someone to talk to, for keeping me entertained, for bein able to find a way to kill my free time, and most of all, for allowing me to be myself xD It's been a blast you guys, I look forward to next year with you guys, let's hope the world doesn't blow up then :P
