Welcome to Newvember!
For those who think things have been quiet around here, prepared to wake up and here the noise! NSane and myself have gotten together and compiled an event for November SO BIG, we had to rename the month!
Newvember as we’re calling it is a song release event where we release a song every day for the rest of the month! This event started a week ago, so there’s already a handful of songs in the game for you to play.
During the event all songs will be released into Funk, and will be moved from there after the release event. Below are all the songs released thus far:

The bump on audio quality seems to make a huge difference, max it went to was 160kbps too. I’ll re convert the other songs later when I have a bit of free time.

Even after upping the quality on Versatile, it still had sound cracks in it. Usually it’s caused by the mp3 file that goes into the swf.

Jesus christ, finally something happens..
FFR is struggling way too much lately.. and the game hasn’t improved much at all. The admins are all awesome at what they do, except that they promote the site with sentences like, “For those who think things have been quiet around here, prepared to wake up and here the noise!” ..whadafuxup with that? Are you serious? I’m alone in thinking that FFR is in need of improvement, aren’t I? -_-

I’m Sick of Uprock has a laggy beginning… and seems laggy throughout. It’s not my computer, because the other songs play just fine in the same window.

Chaoz Fantasy is an 8 because I actually FC’d it =). To me it ranks as a high 8, but an 8 none the less. I’ve only FC’d one or two nines and one 10 (The games we played, part 3)

I was just asking if they where getting paid by Synth because none of the other admins are getting paid by him,Also lightdarkness said he is a volunteer and someone who is trying to help this site and spending countless hours for our benefit should deserver some respect i mean he doesn’t have to do this but he wants to.Im pretty happy with the new songs that have come out and the fact that someone is trying to keep the site from dieing. Guys, the down time is really delaying me putting songs into game and is messing with my schedule, this is why nothing new has been released over the past few days. Once I know the site is up for good I’ll start releasing songs again and make up for lost days, this event will continue until all the set songs are released, so don’t worry about it ending at the end of November.

If it’s SQL-based, have you tried checking to see which queries take up the most time, and seeing if they can be made more efficient, via use of denormalization or indexes or caches or whatnot? Maybe force people to cache songs client-side for longer, too.
