So my brother keeps asking me. "What would you rather have?" and I can't choose. You see, lots of people tell me "Get the Wii" but there's quite a few games like KHIII and FFXIII that I want sooo badly when they come out. I mean, it's SQUARE ENIX! They're gonna be putting a lot of their new titles out on the PS3 so. . . it's like a weight balance. One day I want the Wii. . . next, the PS3. Anyone have any suggestions? Advice = lots of love!

it depends of the kind of RPG you like, because square-enix is creating some action rpg's for the wii (the new FFCC and dragon quest swords).
in my opinion you should get the wii first because the good square-enix games have a closer release than the ones on the ps3, but if you could only choose one then the ps3 is the best choice for RPG fans (unless golden sun does come out for the wii but i think that's rather impossible) -

If he didn't mention the 360 in his choices, then it is not an option and shouldn't be brought up. All the 360 has is a stable online service and maybe a few games. Most of the 360's killer apps are available on PC and still suffers from faulty hardware despite the release of new 360s with the Falcon chipset.
The Wii is fun for a little while before the novelty wears off and you realize that there are really no good games for the Wii outside of first-party titles from Nintendo.
The PS3, while lacking many exclusive titles at the moment, is the better choice. There are many new games on the way while also giving you a free online service, a Blu-Ray player,and other features.
It's really up to you.

360 is the best system out there right now, no doubt about it. wii won't ever have a chance and neither will ps3 if they cant put out a few decent games.
EDIT: if you HAVE to go with ps3 or wii then get the ps3.

Wow, I'm not going to say 360 because it's not what he wants.
So I'm going tell you to buy the Wii. I know you will look at it as a "kiddy system", but don't misjudge it like that just because it's Nintendo. Most of their games are really fun because of the controls themselves. Also, games like Super Mario Galaxy is out, and there are future releases like Super Smash Bros Brawl that is coming out in February.
But of course, if you are the patient type, you can get the PS3 and wait for some of their games to come out. But I wouldn't. I'm not that type of person.Comment
