The $399 console has zero backward compatibility.
It can only play PS3 games.
Why is this important? The PS2 hardware is prone to failure. Nobody knows how long their PS2 will hold up, and if you ever want to play your games ever again, you will either have to try to fix it or buy a new one.
If your PS3 has backward compatibility, you won't have to worry about this.
Also, if we're writing this thing, it should be objective, but I don't see why opinions shouldn't matter. It's a buying guide. It should generally list positives.
It'll be hard for me to list negatives about a console I have no negative feelings about. The only annoyances I've had are with the games themselves, not the console.

hey i heard the ghostbusters game was going to be drastically different on the wii and that it would be dumbed down and more mini-game oriented so i might have to get it on 360 instead sorry
