If you are going to choose based on your opinion, then there was no point of asking us which console do you want, since you were choosing consoles based on OUR opinions.

      Fire Emblem sucks too =)

If there's any RPG franchise that needs a new original idea, it's Fire Emblem.

Halo is a really good game IMO. Even though it's overhyped, the online gameplay is just amazing. Sure there are Halo fanboys that always flame and screw around, but what online game with communication doesn't have that? I just think that the campaign just went downhill after Halo 2.

            We're not getting anywhere.

Look, if Fire Emblem can make a game that isn't the exact same thing as the one before it, I might enjoy it! As it is, each game is just a re-make of the one before it with a new story. The stories are never that interesting to me and the combat is just nauseatingly boring. Those are the two most important aspect of any RPGs.

Disgaea proved to me that it wasn't just SRPGs that I hated; just crummy ones. The combination of Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos, and Star Ocean 3 proved to me that it wasn't RPGs that I was getting tired of, just turn-based random-encounter RPGs (Even though SO3 was terrible. Clearly a game developed around a combat system with a story thrown in last-second). Though I still can't stand Final Fantasy. I'll give FFXII a try once it comes down to $10. Maybe. Another one I can't stand is KOTOR. God. Show me someone who fights like that. I AM GOING TO SWING AT YOU. BEFORE I SWING AGAIN, I WILL ALLOW YOU TO HIT ME ANYWHERE YOU'D LIKE. I AM WAITING FOR YOU TO ATTACK ME. PLEASE ATTACK ME. THANK YOU FOR ATTACKING ME. NOW I WILL ATTACK YOU. And, once again, another game coming out proved to me that the formula can be changed just slightly and work so, so much better. Thank you Mass Effect. Thank you for proving that this subgenre of RPGs is actually worthwhile.

I actually really liked the first Halo. The other Halo games not so much.

I do play Halo on live, but only with my personal friends.

you know what you're right this is not getting anywhere..... let's leave it like that all those games you bash, i like them i love them, your opinion of the fire emblem story and gameplay is just baseless to me because they make many changes to each game and keep the core intact (wich is the part of the franchise i like) i agree with you of those games you say are good, but i disagree with your opinion, so i'll leave it like that because i'm really tired already of fighting with someone who has a very different way to look at videogame franchises, if you wanna keep trolling in every other thread then go ahead and do it i won't bother you anymore.

As long as you stop calling it trolling.

If I'm trolling, I'm breaking the rules and should be banned.

I don't hate what you love. You just happen to love what I hate. It's like Omega and I. I can't stand Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, two of his favorite franchises. Most people love these movies. Me? Can't stand them. They're boring, predictable, and way too long. You could tell the same story in half the time.

It's just a coincidence that you like Fire Emblem and I dislike Fire Emblem. Just like it's a coincidence that I really, really like Elebits whereas a lot of people on this site question how I could ever enjoy such a game.

Talking about elebits??? I guess there wasn't any publicity for this game right?? x_x It was a game produced by Kojima and even though it was a Wii release game... Nintendo didn't do anything to make that game appealing

seriously only overhyped or overrated games are advertised i think is better to look for the info on the internet than on TV. (but not all overrated games are bad XD : example halo 3)

It wasn't advertised, but it was given "Best in Show" for the Tokyo Game Show in 2006.
