Wiis are fun to play. The controller doesn't get old, the games do. Wii Sports is the one that gets old unless you have people over who want to play. The only complaint other than that is the discomfort of playing in front of others and not feeling like a complete moron.
The only time you have to stand up to play Guitar Hero is to use the Star Power so when you turn the controller, you don't bust: your head(done it), your crotch(done it, but not too hard), or your combo(many a time). That's about it.Originally posted by SpecforcesComment

and yet again i agree with squeek, the wii does have tons of games to play with the problem is that if you see a console/game with negative mind it will always stay that way. is not ignorance is being stubborn (everyone is stubborn when it comes to opinions)
while i still say that the ps3 and the 360 are 2 great i have to admit 2 things : 1 that the ps3 doesn't have as many games as the 360/wii (but my sister got one for it's few but great exclusives and it's functions) and 2 that the 360 has high rate failure and on-line is not free. also games are extremely expensive (unlike some wii games are even cheaper than usual )Comment

No. Squeek is not right. Squeek is posting his opinion on the consoles. He is right about cost figures, etc, but when it comes to opinion, there's no way to prove it's right or wrong. I like the PS3 more than the Wii, but not by much. I've said it a couple of times, and I've been reasonable about it... As reasonable as someone can be when they've purchased a PS3. I'm devilish. Well, I have tried many of the games on the PS3, and had literally no fun with them at all.

Squeek has every right to post his opinions, guys. It's what this thread is for. Don't blame him for speaking his mind. It's our choice whether to believe him or not, but we can't blame him for just saying something. We're all different. There's gonna be different views on things.
And on the console subject:
All three of them are probably nice. It's good to hear what people like and dislike about each one. Just think that without all the competition, gaming today would be boring! In my opinion, at least.

Yeah, I just can't stand the cost of PS3, or the fact that since less people have it, online play with friends would be more difficult.
Honestly, I love the controller, and I would love it if I could remain "loyal" (I loved the PS2 to death), but the cost is just terrible. Seriously, if I could use a dual shock controller on my 360*, I'd be one happy camper, but I'm dealing with the less preferred controller design to save myself a couple hundred bucks and to also leave the door open for online play. Really, when Rock Band came out, I decided I'd have to get a Xbox 360 or a PS3. I really was considering the PS3 just to maintain the controller I'm so comfortable with, even with the additional cost, but it didn't take long for me to realize that most of the people I would want to play online with would have 360s and not PS3s.
