Hey, I support Squeek and his views on the Wii. It is also one of my favourite systems. I like the innovative controls, games, and gameplay itself, which proved itself that graphics isn't everything.

I also like the 360 because I'm not much of a PC gamer.

I think all the consoles are nice. I mean, if it's video games, ME LIKEY. That's something we ALL can agree on. However, when it comes to what you're playing them on, I'd pick between the PS3 or the Wii. and that's just me. But I've had a PS2 for a long time and I still love it. I play KHII on it all the time and It never gets old. Is there a DDR for the Wii? Is there one for the PS3? If there is. . . . *drools* I'M GETTIN IT!! That's probably what will make me decide. DDR for PS3? SO GETTING IT! but if there's a DDR for both the Wii and the PS3. . . then it will be hard to choose. However, I have a HD video cable for the PS2 and I can just imagine what it would be like on the PS3. . . it would be like SUPER-HD. I mean, seriously. P-A-R-T-A-Y! But there's Mario games on the Wii. . . . neh. I CAN'T CHOOSE!! Grrrrrr.

well the wii is your choice, there's a DDR exclusive for the wii wich you have to also move your hands thanks to the wii remote and the nunchuck so start drooling

like i said before the wii is a great start for the next-gen consoles because it's cheap and it has many games that would keep you busy until those bigger titles for the ps3 come out (i don't care what squeek says the ps3 will have great games in the future, he is just being a fanboy), but also you have to consider the 360 too if you can

Well at least you're nice about it and not all like "That's crap and this is good." Squeek was being a fanboy, I agree. I can't wait till the big titles come out on the PS3, but the Wii will occupy me amazingly until then. AND I MUST PLAY THE DDR!!!!!!! XD

It's not fanboyism if you honestly dislike the franchises on the console.

I can't stand Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, or Final Fantasy games. And yes, before you say it, I've played them. On the Microsoft side, I hate Halo, so there's zero reason for me to own a 360. CoD4 was good, but it was also a PC game. Gears of War was decent, and it came out on PC.

I don't know why people keep calling me a fanboy. Sorry if I hate the only good exclusive titles that you all seem to eat up like candy, but I'm picky about my games. It just seems otherwise because I have so many. However, Nintendo games are almost always top-quality. Third-party exclusives on Nintendo may not be up to scratch, but they're a heck of a lot more interesting than yet another Metal Gear or Resident Evil or Final Fantasy where nothing changes. Oh, FFXII finally did away with retarded turn-based random-encounter battles? Too bad the Tales series has been doing that since the 1990s. It's also a shame that the Tales series always have real stories that are actually interesting and don't throw random retarded crap at the user to prolong gameplay.

I'm not a console fanboy. If anything, I'm a "good game only" fanboy. I hate what most of you love. Get over it.

Oh, and by the way, the Tales series has been across all platforms, ranging from SNES to PS1 to PS2 to Gamecube and now onto the DS and Wii. So, enjoying those games has absolutely no bearing on a console / company affiliation. Two of the Tales games are among my top 5 favorite games of all time, so it's safe to say Tales games are my favorite games regardless of their console. Take your accusations elsewhere.

Finally, I don't know what your definition of "fanboy" is, but I think of fanboys as people who say "Console A rocks and Console B sucks". Point out where I said that the PS3 or the 360 suck. I'm fairly certain you won't find that. What you will find are my personal reasons for not owning the consoles.

well squeek we think you are a fanboy because the only thing you like to do is bash the games we like.... and yes i love the tales series too, tales of symphonia is my favorite game ever...but does that mean that i should hate other games like final fantasy... i don't think so. oh and by the way so PS2 now to the PS3 and has many good spin-off to the nintendo consoles.

seriously is ok if you hate those games we don't mind but do you have to bash them all the time??? seriously there's tons of game i hate but i don't go to every forum and topic about them and say "this game sucks because this this and that" i rather just stay away from there because i won't bring nothing but trouble to that topic in particular....i think you just enjoy to be called a fanboy and to have this ridiculous fights all the time

Why would you buy a computer just to play music?

PS3. You have Ratchet & Clank, Drake's Fortune, and Resistance. I personally fit Resistance into the same category as Halo. Overrated, unoriginal trash. Seriously. Compare those two games to CoD4 and The Orange Box. Drake's Fortune seems interesting but I never enjoyed third-person shooters. I'll never have a chance to play it though. Ratchet & Clank is fun but barely anything changes between the games. I played the first one and enjoyed it. I played the second one and enjoyed it. I have the third one but still haven't played it because I got tired of the franchise.

I get tired of games very quickly. For example, I still haven't played much of Metroid Prime 3. I bet it's a great game and all, but I already played Prime 1 and 2. Not much has changed. Mario Galaxy was completely different from Mario Sunshine, so of course I enjoyed it. Zack and Wiki is like nothing I've ever played before and it's amazingly fun. Super Paper Mario got old fast and I found myself running through without reading anything because it was just stupid. I'd already played Paper Mario on the n64 and Thousand Year Door on the gamecube. Not much changed.

As it is, two is my limit. If nothing changes after two, I tend to get tired of things. Seeing as I've played every Mario and Zelda game that's come out since 1986, you can tell that Nintendo understands the concept of change.

Anyway, you can have your own opinions. All I'm trying to do is save you money on a purchase you might regret. I've made purchases I regret and I don't want it to happen to others if I can prevent it. I did that by saying that if the only reason you have to spend $400-$600 on a console was two video games, reconsider the purchase. I bought a Wii because I knew my friends were going to be in different universities around the country and I'd have to play on my own most of the time. It's fine because I prefer single-player games anyway. I buy my games for the same reason. No reason to wait for them to buy them then borrow them from 'em.

Sadly Squeek, you do come off as fanboy-ish. You say you don't want people to waste money on the PS3 because according to you it's a decision they may regret. That's not your place to say. I know plenty of people who have said they regretted buying the Wii and a few have even put their Wiis on Craigslist so they could get money or trade them with someone for a PS3 or 360 (mainly a PS3). The only thing you can honestly do is give the facts about a console and nothing more. Your biased attitude towards Sony over other matters is not fact, only opinion.
