Re: TWG XXVII: Art Causes Harm to the Body (Really)

Becky was tossing the cardboard cut-out out of the room when she heard the same beeping as last time. "Argh, not again!" She turned around and saw the guilty party.

Miyako was now sporting a giant red "Peach" on her forehead.

Some of the other students made the mistake of looking at it directly and were temporarily blinded by the reflected shine. "Ack, too bright!" Yuzuko said.

"Couldn't the virus pick someone whose forehead we could actually look at?" Tsurugi complained.

"Hey, shut up! All right, all right, I'll go quietly. No sense in making a scene, and Becky will eventually find a cure, I'm sure." Miyako was escorted away.

It is now Day 3, and blahblah18 has been wolfed. There are 9 of you remaining, so 5 votes is an insta-lynch.

You have until Thursday night at 8 PM Eastern. Or 8:42 or whatever you want to call it. You know what I mean.

Try to actually vote this time, 'kay?

      Wolves are really cool.

I was totally toying with the idea of blah being with mead (based on a weak defense mead gave for blah... it totally seemed like the type a wolf would give to a fellow wolf), but having blah as a sure human makes things so much easier.

And while I'm posting here I might as well mention this: I haven't heard from Noah in days. He hasn't posted. He hasn't been on MS. I haven't even talked with him on AIM lately. I'm not sure what's with him, but someone mentioned that he's on Spring Break right now. I'd hope that he knows enough to get to a computer at some point during this day, but I just thought I'd give you all a heads up on it.

If eb fails to post by the end of the game day I will find a replacement.

Re: TWG XXVII: Art Causes Harm to the Body (Really)

Been discussing the wolfing with tass, my initial thought was that somehow blah's phantom made him look more human in the eyes of the wolves because he as a wolf wouldn't get a phantom, etc. Tass disagreed on the premise that phantoms don't really matter ie anyone regardless of role can get them at any time (a valid point, imo, but maybe a little too absolute). It occurred to me later that it could have been an obvious anti-alliance type kill (on the assumption that tass would want to seer blah) as well. Tass' theory (sorry to appropriate) also makes sense: that blah was definitely human based on the fact that iggy was wolfed, and blah would never wolf iggy. I'm not so sure blah would never wolf iggy night one (like I argued yesterday), but it would be out of character.

I'm with afro here though... as long as the wolves keep knocking off people I'm suspicious of I'll be happy.

I also can't help feeling like the wolves are intentionally saying they are suspicious of so-and-so, then wolfing them so as to make themselves more human.

I swear.... I think every single one of you is a wolf, and can give 3 reasons why.

Yeah, I know. But like I was telling tass it depends on the person... some people being more likely to get phantoms as humans than not. Anyway, it was just my initial thought.

                      OK Boys and Girl...

                      Vash.

                      1. get rid of someone with a phantom
                      2. get rid of someone useless
                      3. get rid of someone who has not been seered
                      4. get rid of someone without revealing much information

My only regret is that the alliance can't come out today and be like... "Hay guys. We have majority. GG."

                      Perhaps tomorrow.

So, um, yea... go and insta Vash so we can get on with the new day. Thanks. Or... or... or... if we're somehow amazingly lucky, the game could be over.

PS - I IMed everyone alive who is online with "go go go"... so, everyone is bandwagoning and therefore nothing can be drawn from who bandwagons.

                        Annoying, but neccesary.

k AIM is sucking so I can't speak with tass or anyone.

So, Tass, you coming out as bane has still been lingering. I mean, couldn't a wolf just take come bane? Either person wouldn't have to worry about being wolfed, am I right? And in any human's eyes you would be a verified human, correct? But there's always that "What if the another bane comes out and opposes?" Maybe you could of been in alliance with the bane and did the "Oh, I'll fake bane and risk you being killed." But there is the possibility that bane has already been lynched. But hell, if you want to insta Vash, why don't we all just help you?

Well, since you feel like throwing out crazy theories in an attempt to discredit me on day 3 (as opposed to day 1), let me respond with the obvious...

I came out on day 1. I came over 24 hours after the day started. If someone else was the bane, I could not, under ANY circumstances, be the only person to come out. Basically... if I am lying, the real bane had to have been alive on day 1, and most certainly would have shot down my claim.

As that didn't happen, I think the obvious speaks for itself.

And, if you are human... well, my apologies. But we're at the point in the game where we have a small pool of choices and we take one to lynch and one to seer, until the group is gone. If the game is still going, we hunt for the MW.

I used an analogy with TPS the other day... its like chess. The unseered players (wolves or humans) are pawns. There are many of them and the collective is not worried about the loss of a few or many of them, but used correctly... they are extremely important to winning. The seered players are the Knights, Rooks, Bishops. They are more imporant and have more freedom to move around without suspicion. The seer is the King. Stays in the shadows, all important to victory, works carefully. I am the Queen (erm... Hermapherdite? Anyway.). I'm being vocal, leading the other pieces around, protecting the King, and usually the one to take down pieces from the other team.

That is the best analogy I can give. I hope you understand.

ps GG at trying to say Tass is a wolf. If you're going to try to shift attention from yourself, you should pick someone who isn't 100% human in everyone's eyes.

well, if the numbers are there then there's no reason not to go vash and guarantee the team vic.

still, I think it might have been better to wait a little longer before putting this into operation, so that we could have seen what people (like all the ones who still haven't posted) had to say about the blah kill and their suspicions and whatnot. but whatever... end result should hopefully still be the same (if maybe harder to get to).
