Still reading the thread, only just did a brief ISO with who I'm presenting to see their headspace, haven't gotten to any checkpoints or whatever (on post 502 now as I type this and take a breather)

I think, seeing early game and Haku DECLINING thesunfan's offer (and rolling town, from the OP) makes it pretty clear I should trust Hakulyte and narrow it down further. I'll keep trucking on and see exactly why my replacement drew MML as a cute doggy

I think it's pretty clear cut where the wolf is. I HEAVILY believe it's Cham. That singular post made me go "Alright, this is a wolf trying to take some town cred since their partner DIPPED and Haku would no way in hell ever accept this offer."

Right now, I'm perfectly fine trusting Haku (mechanically at this juncture I feel unless the biggest big brain play ever)

Honestly, I'm just as annoyed as thesunfan is with the play, and I knew the flip as I read! I was waiting for it, but it turns out it was WAY LATE in the posts for the flip.

Okay, back from lunch. Going back to examining the thread, but just to respond to this:

At this point it literally does not matter what your read on me is. I'm not going anywhere, no one ever trust falls with me given my previous play.

There are only two options here:
1.) I am a desperate wolf trying to waste town's time by insisting someone else is a wolf while attempting to find an out. If no one trust falls with me, this is not a problem for town to worry about, as I have no win condition.
2.) I am a town player new to TWG that was taken advantage of after extremely poor play on my part, and there is still a wolf out of the other five players. It cannot be Haku, and I do not foresee a scenario where your slot is wolf. If that is the case, it MUST be between Lar, raeko, or roundbox.

I have to be one of the last two players in the game. The only real question is who gets left with me, which, whether you like it or not, is a larger decision than everyone seems to think.

Haku, you're 100% town, you would have left with Lewdy when you both had an out if that wasn't the case.

I agree with you falling with Duc/Charu here, because I have a very strong inclination that Lewdy was targeting new players to try and leave with. He attempted to pocket me early on since I was the only new player being active at the start, and after I mentioned that I was worried that he was attempting to pocket me two separate times, he realized that I wasn't going to be his exit, so he switched to using me as a scapegoat. Or, more likely, after I initiated my trust fall with you, he probably didn't have a choice BUT to use me as his scapegoat, but that's neither here nor there right now. What I'm trying to get at is, I feel strongly that despite Duc's posts, they can't be a wolf. Mainly because of this interaction:

"does not benefit us"

I can't believe that Lewdy would have a slip-up there and reference his wolf partner in such a way. That just doesn't sit right with me. It reads to me as a wolf using a new player playing sub-optimally to create a backup plan if their initial scapegoat didn't work out. I'll also point you to this:

Given Lewdy's wolf status, it would make sense that he would agree with this. New players would be easier targets to fall with later in the game, giving wolves an escape valve if both of them were older, more well-versed players.

All I'm trying to get at with this post is that I think your assessment of Duc/Charu is correct.

I've reread the entire thread and his iso. I know Lewdy said things like "us" about multiple players which automatically makes me see it as intentional theater to confuse town.
His actions toward you doesn't really matter because he was a wolf. This would make sense if you had to justify what another town player did in relation to your posts.
What's breaking the game for me is that I cannot disassociate your actions from his game.
That is because you keep mentioning that "you did not have a choice", but I usually only get in this mindset when I roll wolf and need to make something happen.

I think I got blood in my eyes because I see this post and immediately think it's you damage controlling. This is such a neutral response, it's kind of amazing considering I'm gunning right for you being the wolf.

No flipping the finger to me, the person who just replaced. No declaring someone else is stinkier than me sussing you. Just...

This is your redemption arc Haku for refusing to trust fall with Sunfan and Charmoeleon.

..and then I implode and cry because I picked "Charu" and it was DucDucGoos who prepared 2 years for this moment.

then I wake up sweating.
