rolls are good for like maybe one sound across every song ever and they're p much pointless unless you make them longer than like a measure so i mean

i don't get them

not at all, they can be used creatively to emphasize some specific sounds/instruments/combination of sounds, however we aren't used to them, just like mines weren't used, except for REALLY rare exceptions, a few years ago.

dont install sm to program files on vista and up, problem solved. i have mine on desktop.

Lemme guess, vista problems? You'll have to go into a hidden folder called AppData in you User folder to find changed made to files in your program folder. Best to install SM somewhere else, like in your User folder.

Rolls are cool in tricks in pad files and for a one-trick-pony keyboard file. Anything after that is just an annoyance.

I still use 3.9 come at me bro

it seems like most people still use 3.9x to me.

i've just recently switched to sm5. at first i couldn't play on it at all no matter what i did because it's so different in-game with the theme, but i added the old noteskins and reduced the reading space like in sm3.9x and now i really like it. it runs a lot better than all 3.9x versions for me

I use 3.9+ because I can't move on from 3.9 and the themes are pretty.
