    Beginning

Death stared out over the balcony and smiled. All fifteen of the expected people were present, right on schedule. He glanced at four of them in particular. Those he had chosen.
Death took a deep breath, coughed, and clutched at his chest. Time was running short. He hoped that one of this batch would be his successor. He frowned and walked to the door.

The fifteen Kraan looked over to Death when the door opened. The tall man seemed to glide into the room to the area in front of them.

“I welcome you to my home, dearly departed Kraan. I am Death, as you may well know. And you are all part of my little game.” He paused for effect, smiling as he watched the fear in their eyes. “Eleven of you are normal Kraan. The others, you know who you are, have been chosen to kill the others.”

“Here’s the deal. Those not chosen will try to kill those that have been, and vice versa. The Chosen know who each other are. During the day, everyone publicly votes to kill one of their own, in hopes that a Chosen is killed. At night, the Chosen tell me, through their dreams, who they wish to kill. I obey their wish.”

“If the normal Kraan win, all survivors receive eternal life. If the Chosen live, I choose one of them to take my place. Any other Chosen survivors will receive eternal life as well.”

Death turned to leave, but stopped in mid-step. “Ah, wait.” He turned back to the group and held out his hand. Nothing seemed to happen. “I’ve just given three of you special abilities. One, the Seer, has the ability to look into anyone’s mind and see who they really are. To the second, the Guardian, I have given knowledge of a symbol that will protect a single person from harm every night. To the third, a Great Chosen, I have given heightened power of deception, even where the Seer is concerned. The Seer will see what you wish him to see.” Death paused. He sniffed the air. "Hmm...one of you who were not Chosen seems to have a faint trace of demon blood in their veins. I would be cautious of that one, Seer. That blood will confuse your sight."

He continued. “Also of interest, it appears that three of you normal Kraan knew each other in life. I promise, you are still friends here.” This time, when Death, turned, he did not stop.

“I wish you all good luck, and good night.” He snapped his fingers, and all fifteen were transported to their own, separate room.

It is now Night 1. The sun will rise on Monday, March 3rd, at 9:00 P.M. EST.

All PMs are being sent now.

Note: I kept everything the same as the 16-person set-up. Good guys just have one less normal human.

I'm pretty sure it's just a normal human that seers red, and the human doesnt know that he is the miller.
