This is one of those unanswerables.
The Nintendo is cheap and fun, but some say that it lacks the gaming that they want. The PS3 is deemed a great console, but has a lot of negative attention in addition to some flaws that I've seen myself.
I haven't played the Wii yet, but I'd test out the Wii first. Choose what you TRULY want, though, not just 'cause of what I posted.

Wrong section, there is a "video games" section. This thread has been done numerous times, there are stickies for all three of the newest generation consoles and so everything about this thread screams "deja vu".

Want to play high-graphic games? Get a PS3 or a 360.
Want to play games in a unique way? Get a Wii.
Want to really figure out what you want to spend hundreds of dollars on? Do your research.Comment

Go for the wii. Don't get the PS3. It won't last. In my school, you get a PS3 and everyone is like "I don't care, those crappy consoles sucks anyways" but when you get a wii everyone is like "OMG I wanna come over and play it now! I'm gonna buy one too!" I'd prefer the wii anyways because I love the style of gameplay. PS3 is basically an Xbox 360 but with the same freakin' controller as their previous consoles.Comment

If you are a casual gamer the Wii is best. It is affordable and fun. If you know what you are doing and are good with electronics I would suggest the PS3 not for its gaming potential but for its computer potential. It has such powerful processors and graphics cards in it with a bit of tweaking it could be converted to a sweet super computer. I guess you could get one just for Assassins Creed...."Knowing information legitimately lessens genuine error. Ordinarily, research generates excellent benefit understanding social history."

That's one of the only things I find the PS3 useful for. About the only computer flaw is that I put in a CD and it only showed half the songs I had.
BTW Pyro and wicked, both "Mi Tambien" and "Yo Tambien" work just fine, but a proper way to say it is "Estoy de acuerdo".

The Wii is way better than the PS3. Only because the Wii had less problems than the PS3. And the Wii has a good range of games.
