based on the ass graphics, poor library, low accuracy on the Wiimote, no online gameplay after about of year of being released, and piss poor showing on E3, PS3 by far, BY FAR, all you wii fanboys are going to be pissed when your taking a dump on ur Wii Fit pad seeing how much your **** weighs, and guys like me who have gotten bored with the ****ty graphics and library on the wii is playing kick ass games like Warhawk, Timeshift, Metal Gear Solid 4, Timesplitters 4, and the new Rachet n Clank which looks ****ing beautiful. PS3 which will have dedicated server support btw, which will ****ing eliminate alot of lag. The Wii doesnt even have a Hard Drive. GG Nintendo, GG.

WII HAS FAR SUPERIOR GAMEPLAY.
SSBB WILL HAVE ONLINE PLAY.
WII HAS NOT BEEN OUT FOR A YEAR YET.

Well, I have both the Wii and the PS3. During my time of playing, I've found the PS3 and the Wii to be slightly on par based not only on gameplay, but the complexity of the specifications for both systems. Clearly, each system has its own advantage, and each person out there has their own opinions. The PS3 is far superior in graphics, but is heavily lacking games and gameplay compared to the other competing systems.

That being said, the PS3 is also a GREAT media player. Although lacking the popular multimedia container format, AVI, the ability to display videos, music, and pictures of very high quality drastically makes up for that. The PS3 is also a Blu-Ray player, enabling one to view movies in 1080p Full HD, provided you have a capable HDTV.

I've not listed all of the pros and cons of each system, but both systems have much to improve in. Some games like MGS4, Warhawk, Lair, GTA IV, and FFXIII all look promising and I cannot wait to get my hands on them.

I'm putting my favor towards the PS3.

PS: I'm also anxiously waiting for SSBB and Super Mario Galaxy.

The Wii is for game play fun, the Playstation three is for graphic quality, but the xbox 360... is for both game play and graphics.

Well if you bring X-Box 360 into this, it is far better than the PS3. Microsoft had some good idea's of what to put into x-box, and then Sony just copied the ideas.

Also, if anyone wants the best graphics, then go with x-box 360. its slightly better graphics and some good games to it. PS3 has yet to release a game I'm interested in. Let me just say I am not an x-box fan. I used to despise it until the ps3 came out.

Actually, at first the x-box had similarities to the ps2. That was why I hated it, but then the 360 came and they came up with new ideas that Sony added in the ps3. Revenge.

for those who say the wii doesn't have anything multifunctional, it does have.
forecast channel, news channel, photo channel, everybody votes channel. and there will be many more.

however this ones doesn't help the gamplay you have them for free (except the internet channel) and if you want them or not is your problem.

well i don't know about your area but mine is. and yeah is already on the internet but the fact that you can see it on the globe whenever you want (and not just wait for the guy on TV to say what's gonna happen in my area) , and the news channel is something far greater than newspaper.

Because I bought the Wii for the weather forecasts.

Not to mention that the weather forecasts only updates every 6 hours or so and weather likes to change.

yeah that's why it gives a general report of the day, (when it says right now, and then it says today).

though only few times is wrong, (just once or twice for me) but that's normal.
