No. The old Garbage Bin had 12 threads in it. Nobody made a thread for a good month or two. Then it was 13 threads.

Now, what is it? five hundred or so? That's in-fucking-credible.

The garbage bin either should be modified so it does not affect the users' post counts (possible to do, and probably easy), or it should be eliminated altogether. Having it gives the impression that postwhoring is okay on the whole site--which it obviously is not. Delete it and enforce the no-postwhoring rule, too. If people want to postwhore, they can go to Gaea Online. FFR doesn't seem like the place for it to be appropriate.

I finally can agree when someone says the Garbage Bin should be deleted. What is the point of it exactly? To allow users to boost their postcount by saying lol or asdf. Forums aren't meant to be a game to see who has the bigger e-penis as i have realized XD. Just delete the garbage bin, it will be better for everyone.

No, don't delete the garbage bin. Rename it. Give it rules. Make it not allow postwhoring. Make it for joke threads. For example, LD's mountain dew thread is the type of thread that the garbage bin should be composed of.

The garbage bin used to be funny, and is apart of FFR history. It will stay, but I would like to see some reform in there, and getting away from posts like "asdf" and "olol". It used to server a purpose, now it's to increase postcount.

By naming it the Garbage Bin, it sets an image of what should be posted there. Renaming it is a very good idea.

I never found Moogy's postwhoring funny. But, in most ways seeing olol as a post generally doesn't come out as funny.

Oh, yeah. My suggestion : Move the garbage bin up to the top of the forums, rename it something like "Random Stuff" or "Unmoderated (Except when we feel like it)", and make it for posts like mine, or just completely random stuff like the Mountain Dew thread.

Oh, and for those who think the a0 forums are great, that's fine. I don't agree with you completely, but I can see other people liking them. HOWEVER, please don't try to turn FFR into a0.com; that would be awful. It's often annoying as hell and the maturity level is reflected in the average age of the users (Note to Kilga: "average").

This is less specific and alot more general.


Personally, I think this mod team needs to do more. And get a couple more strict people on it who do stuff, too. Cause agh.
