I think that there needs to be one or two more site admins. Just in case something like the Mwerp incident happened. I got Soccr on the forums to help Chardish clear the mess but that wasn't enough to stop him.
I completely agree with Kilga's thread. Isn't that the guy who you post about on a0 often? It seems like that policy would really help the forums here. Also, the in before lock and other postwhoring like that used to be somewhat funny, but now it is overused and it is getting retarded.Comment

We can all do something by watching our own posts, giving respect to those who folow the rules and not giving respect to those who don't respect the rules, and everyting should work out much better. The less hypocritical we act, as some have mentioned, the easier it will be to enforce policies of a more intelligent, respectable forum.Comment

I thought about this some more (I have vacation yay and had nothing to do) and I don't think we need many more mods or anything. I think they are doing a good job. I think the only thing we need is a user level system, so you might want to act good. Like if you prove yourself worthy, you can gain access to the random bin. This way noobs would only get a few forums that they need to advance and then if they were good they could join the system of advanced users. You could also demote people to a low status, and if necessary, bannage.
You could also have like a huge system of rules, suggestions, info, whatever that would answer almost everything, because it gets really annoying to hear the same thing over and over again.I still exist...Comment

LD, this isn't something that "Erupted". This has been on my, and i'm sure many other's minds for a very long time.
I wrote a ten paragraph response to this thread last night, and sadly, my computer locked up right as i finished it. I was really fired up, but now I've decided to just add a couple of points.
I'd like to admit that for the first time in FFR history, I agree with something moogy has suggested. He would like to ban a ton of people from this site, and i wouldn't disagree.
I'm not saying ban everyone he suggested, but still, Idiocy has overtaken this forum, chat, and site in general. After reading that post that Kilga linked to, I'd have to say that is one of the best ideas you could ever implement into a forum or chat. Get rid of Idiots, and you'll have many problems solved.
Intelligence is a huge factor in a forum, at least i think. If you're going to be posting comments such as "OMFG LIEK I oWnZ Jo0!" all the time, then obviously you're a putz. You need your head examined, and shouldn't be here, or on a computer for that matter. It's common sense that if a thread is being made about something serious, a few pages of responses shouldn't end in a flame war with people calling other people Jo0s or stupid AzNs or whatever the hell else those morons say.
Some people would complain saying "But you can't do that! You'll eliminate half the population of this forum!" You know what i say to that? Good Fucking Riddance. Who cares if they're gone. They're the idiots who're wasting our oxygen, and i wouldn't miss them in the least bit. I'm sure there are plenty of others who'd agree with me here.
They don't only aggrivate me, they also waste my time by having a thread skyrocket up to 25 pages of BS after being up for an hour. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. How many times have you came across a decent looking thread, read it, then noticed that it takes you an hour just to read all it's responses? And by the time you're done reading those responses, you've either forgotten what you were gonna respond with, simply because so many other issues have come up, or even worse, you forget what the hell the thread was about in the first place because the responses have become so rediculous that you can't even tell if they're being written in english anymore.
Once again, removing idiots solve this problem. I'd much rather have a forum of 100 people i enjoy talking with than a forum with 150,000 people who 99% of which annoy the hell out of me. I'd rather sit and debate stuff with moogy all day, than talk to some of these people who's IQ's are smaller than their shoe sizes.
