If we can play a 24 person twg, we can play two 12's

A few things that need to be set straight: The games are remaining merged until we get players. Seeing as we don't have the playerbase to support the two, this is how it'll be until we get new people.

Games larger than 20 people, especially with roles that can revive, aren't going to happen again until the games are unmerged. A month and a half long game killed TWG last time; nobody wants it to happen again. I will concede that the last game was epic, but it dragged on for way too long.

Finally, more enforcement of the IRL friend rule needs to happen. I don't care how many times it's happened in the past. I don't give a **** what kind of justification you may think allows you to play in games together. It's a rule for a reason, and it needs to be enforced. Rzr/argo, this means you too. This isn't open for discussion anymore.

If anyone has any issues with these (except the IRL friends rule) take it up with me on AIM or post in the thread if you can't get a hold of me that way, and I'll get a vote started to change things.

You raise a good point there. We've only ever met IRL once, so it's not the same level of contact as argo/rzr have. If it's still an issue though, I'll abide by the rule and not play in the same game as them.

Also, what do you guys think of Manti's suggestion about unmerging the games? Not a bad idea now that I think about it, and 12 player games would keep things moving quickly.

back in the day, when the irl rule was really strict, a young lad named kentball started to play. then his sister started playing. even though they were siblings, so they obviously knew each other in real life, the old TWC allowed them to play together because they only saw each other like twice a year or something. that seemed to work out fine, and the problem isn't really knowing people in real life, but it's seeing them in real life during the game. so i'm gonna vote that makilaz can play with rzr/argo

Well, upon advice of many of you I've been avoiding posting here to keep my temper. So, I thought if I could go about this maturely at least if things didn't go my way, people would still respect me.

Again, you all know my opinion, there's no need to harp on the fact and I'm not going to try and push it in anyone's face. The only thing I can do is say that Argo and I played a very good game together, and I hope we were able to prove we can do so in the fututre.


As to the unmerge, I don't think there's much of a reason to cap it at twelve players, fourteen and sixteen games are fun and go well too. But any more than that... Yeah. If it's all cool someone can start the sign ups.

Apparently there's something new needed to be brought up:

If you vote yourself do you still recieve a phantom? Does voting against yourself count as a vote? Should you be aloud to do it at all?

I say: Yes, you still recieve a phantom. No, it doesn not count as a vote. And no, you should not be aloud to do it.

I say: Yes, you still recieve a phantom. No, it doesn not count as a vote. And no, you should not be aloud to do it.

The answer to this is: Yes it counts as a vote, yes you still get a phantom if you leave it.

No offence, man, but that seems stupid. Why should you even be allowed to do it if you're going to it the same penalty either way? At least making them cast a vote on another, or none at all will make the game run more... accurately.

voting for yourself is not allowed. You'll get a phantom because your vote doesn't count.

The original TWC ruling was that you could vote for yourself, but several games went by and people were just saftying themselves game after game simply not to step on anyone's toes.

They changed it to: "the Vote counts but you still get a phantom" because there are instances where people just give up and vote themselves. It's designed to allow you to vote for yourself in those instances, but it makes you vote for someone else if you're just saftying.

because it allows for you to remain safe and avoid suspicion. Hurting yourself can be viewed in more ways than one. It's just not common.

or because if they're dumb enough to not read the rules they deserve to be penalized
