*edit* thats not as clear as I thought it would be.
    As clear as possible:
You cannot be alive in a jTWG and a TWG at the same time.

The only reason I was going commando was because I left my boxers on when we went swimming in school!
And yay, our bans are up! If it's cool with you, I'll take the junior games. I know you like playing with the vets more.

So I was sitting around, bored ****less, and went and read all the stickies and old games. And I had a question for you guys... why do we have so many stickies?

P.S. On the recommendation of pntballa18 I henceforth revoke my apology for going commando and for future reference support non-underwear wearing folk! Down with undies! Down with undies!

P.P.S. No seriously, I was actually wondering why we have so many stickies, the rules, the TWC thread, the rules announcement...

I'm moving that we combine jTWG and TWG into one game, with both newbies and veterans alike, as per Tass's suggestion.

            Vote, gogogo.

Not that my point is valid, but I don't see how it matters. There's no reason to eliminate one of them. Just drop it until the vets come back or something. And widen the amount of players per game.

Um...how is "dropping one" not the same thing as "merging them into one"

Because if you stop using one until someone brings it back up you're fine. But if we merge them and the vets come back or there's a sudden boom of new players we'll only have one option.

I suggest you consult BDN on this one as he was the one who revived TWG. I remember that game too

If there's a sudden boom of new players, or the vets magically come back, then we can un-merge them. It's not like it's that difficult to do.

I'm not on the Council obviously, but I definitely don't like the thought of merging them into one.

First of all, that makes it so that a new player who has never played before can now play with vets, and second, that opens the possibility for someone who has no clue what they're doing to get an important role which could affect the entire game (i.e. guardian).

yeah i'm personally against merging them, too. but by the way the activity has been going recently, i think it's neccessary. as makilaz said, we could always just seperate them again

So? New players playing with vets will make the new players learn faster and better, by example, than they would muddling through with all new players. And frankly, I'm not convinced from watching a number of games that just being deemed worthy to play in TWGs implies a degree of game skill that makes it so they can't screw up an important role. Everyone can screw up, it isn't just newbies who can do that.

Would you rather have one game, always full, always ready to go quickly that occasionally ends badly? Or two games, constantly struggling for people that end via rampant inactivity and random.org doing all the game playing?

It's really difficult to learn anything when you're in a game full of new people that don't know how to play. When you're in a game with vets, you can learn from them by example, and figure out how best to play. It's not necessarily about screwing up an important role, but learning from mistakes, or veteran players.
