Why is it that any mod can edit/delete posts?

I assume it is supposed to be understood that there is a distinction between "A moderator" and "A player who happens to be a moderator"

Take it as you please. But if someone called in a favor and had a moderator delete a post they made it would be no different than if [hypothetically and no offense you were playing and deleted a post or Manti or anyone who could do that without getting "caught."

Yes, backing off on that would be a good idea. If anyone becomes a forum moderator and would use their powers to cheat in a forum game, then it was a serious mistake to make them a forum moderator, and that is indicative of potentially far more serious issues.

I'm not questioning anyone's morals (duh). I'm saying the rule should state that for no reason should any post be edited/deleted unless specific permission is given by the host.
If you can't handle an example, Xception, don't read it. I didn't make you. So drop it.

If a moderator sees something that needs immidiate attention, they shoudln't have to track down and wait for the host to be around. They should do their job and moderate the forum.

I edited a post in the current jTWG, and I haven't seen Jugglin around all day. If I had to wait for him, it might have caused problems.

I agree, if it's a matter of flaming or something serious like that. But, for example, my last game when I wouldn't let anyone delete Xception's posts [for reasons I stated in the post game] had I not been asked and they were deleted I would have been angered. I think we can agree that with the exception of a moderators duty, no posts in a currently active TWG/jTWH may be edited or deleted without prior approval from the current host.

It's a ****ing online game. It's a one game ban. It's nothing to flip out about.

You have crossed the line on multiple occasions and are pulling the apathy, badass, and pity cards all at once. If you take the game seriously as you claim you'd simply acknowledge your mistake and take the ban. Bringing tass into this and actually catching guido's interest was enough, but you have continuously brought up issues that have no relation to the topic at hand. You've been banned and fighting it won't do anything for it.

I urge TWC to consider banning him further or simply forbid him entry into the forum. At this point I can guarantee that most regulars have had their fair share of rzr's complaints and empty arguments. To continue playing with such a person would be to sacrifice the joy of playing the game itself.

Lol, dude I totally stopped talking about the ban. It's old news, the council voted to keep it, I can't press the issue further.
So when Manti asked if there was anything to discuss about the rules I brought up the point of editing/deleting post without permission. Nothing about the ban, lol, relax.

1a. Players are not allowed to edit/delete their posts for ANY reason. Moderators are not allowed to edit/delete anyone's posts, without host consent. Moderators are allowed to delete posts by users not in the current TWG who post in the thread.

1b. If the host asks a moderator to delete certain post(s), then it can be permitted. Absolutely NO player can delete/edit their posts while participating a j/TWG game AT ALL
