As long as there are enough players in my game I'm going to have him co-host with me, anyway. I might start doing this with some of the new people, to kind of show them the ropes and let them see the game from a more insightful perspective.

Given the recent **** in jTWG I think it should be mandatory for the OP to contain the generic human PM, or the players can't ask questions that the wolves can't know about the human PM. This can be avoided by the human PM being posted (unless all are different).

I think if you make it policy to post the human PM in a game except for mystery games, it would take away the fun of a mystery game if the whole point was for no one to know there were multiple roles, rather than all humans and a few special abilities. So, I propse it illegal to ask about anything in a host PM except for your role, may it be human, seer, etc.

3a. Players are not allowed to reveal their PMs or conversations with the host to anyone else. This includes (and is not limited) to: forwarding the PM to any other player, showing a screenshot of the PM, or copypasta'ing the PM info into the thread or to another player. Players are not allowed to reveal conversations - with the Host - relating to the game to any other player. Players may not post screenshots of conversations they have with other players that are not involved in the current j/TWG.

Now, forgive my apparently poor reading skills, but it looks to me like your proposed rule is covered in the very first sentence.

No, we are talking about mentioning anything in your PM other than your role. Those rules only say not to copy the exact PM, not to SS the PM and not to forward the PM. We aren't talking about showing your PM. I am suggesting making it a rule not to even MENTION anything at all other than your role.

Yes, but even the first post doesn't specify this. It says we aren't allowed to reveal our PM's to anyone. But if anyone did exactly that, it'd be illegal to say "I am a human" because that's part of the PM. So, to say that sums it up is incorrect because if that's true, then we'd be in the dark for the entire game, just blindly guessing based off of pure instinct. So, to easily avoid all confusion, you could add to the rule and say that you may not discuss anything in your host-to-player PM other than your role.

Okay, since I can see that your argument is hinging on the fact that the rules have to be so clear that a 3-year old could understand them, I'll throw you a bone (just in case that is in fact your reading level.) We could amend the rule 3a. to explicitly say that you can state your role. I guess assuming people have a complete lack of common sense is actually a good idea, considering people like FJ are playing TWG.

Hmm.. then why didn't you do this last game? Hypocrite much? I'm not trying to be an ass and I'm not a 3-year-old. I don't care what you think or if it's dangerous. I'm not trying to make this a debate or argue against the rules. I'm just saying that any sensible person who reads this rule can assume it not to be specific enough and use that logic to do exactly what I did. Nothing I've said or done is ban-worthy. I know now that it is illegal, even if you don't modify the rule, but others may not. And that will lead to yet another canelation. No one needs to jump on me about this anymore. Thanks.

Don't call me a god damn hypocrite. It's not mandatory. I didn't expect people to play so dirty. If we MAKE IT MANDATORY they'll be there for everyone.
