Anyways, I'm back now and vote yes on the before mentioned proposal.

I vote yes on the aforementioned proposal, and no on any punishment for u84 now that game is over. Sure, it was because of unseen motives, but as far as u84 knew his team was getting cheated.

We all have our moments. I'm sure plenty of us have felt cheated against in a game and wanted to drop out. U84 had the same experience, just took it a little further than necessary. He felt screwed and biased against and acted as most of us would. That doesn't really merit a punishment. Just my thoughts.

Thank you for dropping it, but the only thing I have a problem with is the multiple extensions. I am asking a TWC member to propose not extending a game simply because the host is unable to update, but rather have it not be updated until the host can get to it. That sounds reasonable.

Yeah, that screwed you. Just pause the game if the host's not around. Or, pretty radical, the host could just end the phase when they know they'll be around!

i always thought that if the host wasn't around when phase ended, the phase ended anyways. or atleast that's how it should be

I'm pretty sure the phase always ends. The host can update when they return.

I'm with trav and pnt, I thought the phase ended unless someone requested an extension or if a large majority of people hadn't voted. We should probably make a rule on this if there isn't one already.

Yes, that's how I remember it being ever since I started. If you aren't around when the phase ends, then you update whenever you get back. The phase can still end in the host's absence.

why is there even an issue about that. It's more than obvious. The phase ends at the time it ends. You don't post until an update takes place. Conversation can still ensue but nothing can be done until the phase is updated. This is particularly true for games without night-talking.

Here's an idea: Could you also add the AIM names of the TWC members to the first post? This could be beneficial to any new people who may not know the screenames and want to have another way to get in touch with you guys.
