I'm playing this a little bit off and on now. I'm not going to seriously get into it again like I was before. I'm pretty busy with other, more important things.

After being pretty much gone from this site for a while, I have some things to say. After seeing games like Smash Bros. Brawl not turn out as well as I had imagined, even with a lot more people working on it than there are people working on FFR, I think the staff here deserves more credit than I gave them in my previous random thoughts. Also, I don't know how, but I think I'm better at FFR now than when I used to play all the time. I scored in the top 10 on vrofl a few days ago. I also got 4 goods on K8107 today, and watched the replay, and it saw that it still would have been the same even with jack syndrome. However, I've been very bored lately. I'm considering doing a tourney, and any suggestions of things to do are welcome.

I decided to do a little testing to see if jack syndrome was indeed gone, and yep, it is no more. I got a perfect on the first note of the 2 framer in 100bb, and couldn't seem to notice jack syndrome on a little of Frictional Nevada, either, although it was on a school computer. This actually makes FFR sound like a lot more fun to me again, but I'm still never going to play nearly as much as I used to. Still, I am now interested in seeing what some of the hardest songs are like without jack syndrome.

Edit: Wow, this game is soooooo much easier without jack syndrome. Even at school with a microscopic resolution compared to what I like, I still beat my Nova score, and could easily beat other scores like Piano Etude if I tried. Now the only problem is that there REALLY aren't nearly enough hard songs.:(

Yesterday in my Music 331 class, we listened to Maple Leaf Rag, and it's on the list of songs we're supposed to know for a test. I feel the best way for me to remember a song with its name is...to play it in FFR. Seriously, you could play almost any song that was in FFR back when I played it a lot, and I could name the song. I think I already know it well enough though, but I think I'll play it at least once, anyway. I never imagined this game would be so useful.XD

Yes, I'm doing this since I'm very bored. Just because I'm barely here anymore doesn't mean I'm completely gone guys. The responses to my comments and posts on my wall are still welcome, and thanks to all who've left me any messages lately.

I just feel like I've been so much happier since when I stopped being so active here. I don't feel like I'm being tortured in games so much anymore, and more like I can do whatever I want in them and there's no one that's going to take away levels from me or have levels that are ridiculously hard to unlock that I just can't ever get. I now can play games where I feel I'm making myself better in some way, such as thinking in ways I normally never do or just exercise from playing the Wii.

That's not all. I've made it further with a girl than ever before now, too. I even got better grades than I expected my first quarter at the University of Washington, and I expect pretty high from myself.

Finally, I'd like to amend my idea about the mystery prize. In the event that they ever do give it out, send me a PM at Rithum.com or just email Doug31@flashflashrevolution.com and say that they've (finally) given out the mystery prize. Wow it seems like that tourney was a really long time ago now. I mean, it wasn't like the one I was just in, it was waaaaaaaaay back when I get 3rd place. Oh well, I've waited longer for something from this place before haha.

I can't think of much else to say, but anyone who reads this gets automatic cool points from me. I wish you all a very happy new year, even though I bet people will read this long after that new year has started.:)
