I was in radio chat for a while, listening to Jason and Tass answer a bunch of questions. During this, I asked 2 questions that Jason said to make a topic about, but I can't remember...err, I just remembered what the other one of them was...yay! Plus, colt is really awesome and made my entire day totally rule it's been the best day of the entire summer omg even the CD player would probably stutter when she walked by. Anyway, now to go make that topic. Plus yay, I made it to the next round of the official tourney that's about to start!

My random thoughts aren't random enough...so...boing boing boing!

Just came up with a list. I hope I didn't accidentally leave out anyone that I should have put on there.

I remember my history teacher said this about a US President in the past, not sure who, but maybe it was Jackson. Anyway, I'm one, too. <3 For starters, I always wanted more songs in FFR, but now I've not been happy with what they've been adding. I also used to make this big deal about postcount. I was really ticked when they removed PMS accounts from the most prolific posters list, so I was determined to dethrone tass as the number 1 on their (bs) top posters list. I thought staff had an advantage, as locking/posting in a thread was faster and got you more posts than reporting a thread and not posting in it, plus they don't have to wait 10 seconds between posts. However, from being a mod at another VBulletin site, rithum.com, I feel like I get fewer posts/minute that way. Why? Well, I've made a ton of posts on FFR, over 40,000 if you combine my accounts. Anyway, I'm totally used to the quote button being on the far left of the buttons on people's posts. Now, if you're a mod, the edit button is to the left of that. As a result, I keep accidentally clicking edit instead of quote, which is wasting a ton of my time. It's a good thing I haven't clicked submit after doing this yet, as I've always noticed there were no [quo te] tags. I also feel like I'd do anything for a girl, as they are all that really matter to me, yet I'm not doing very well at trying to get a girl. Well, I'm not spending much time trying, but I honestly don't really know how to very well. Almost every place I ever hang out seems like a horrible place to do so. If you're interested, even this the Internet is not a good place to find girls, let me know, but I'll probably screw up and then you'll never want to talk to me again and I'll never know what I did wrong or something, since I seem to be good at that. There are a lot more ways that I am like this, but I don't feel like thinking up or typing up anymore of them right now.

Let's see...there are so many reasons it's hard to list them all.

1. First, and the biggest reason: upscroll. Omg, it's like everything is totally built around this, and for those of us downscrollers, it's a huge drag. They've gotten r2, Resonance, a bunch of widgets, and MP a long time before it had downscroll. This totally annoys me, especially when I figure I could have easily played tons of MP during all that time and became an MP mod or something maybe if it freaking had reverse all that time, but noooooooooooo. Now I don't really care about that, though, as I don't even really like MP anymore. There are also tons of things that just seem totally made with upscroll in mind. There are evil pulsing backgrounds that have circles and stuff that actually moves down on the screen during the song, which is very annoying when the arrows are also blue and also moving down on the screen. Even that little part of the screen below the lifebar is not flat on top, yet it is flat on the bottom. This usually results in me seeing up and down a little before left and right on 2x with my screenshrink I've been using, which seems like a disadvantage to me. Also MP always defaults to UP, which doesn't bother me that much, but if you quit MP with a song loaded, even if you had selected DN, it will still just start up the song on UP, which makes me go into a rush to reload mode.

2. Tokens. Omg, there is so much to say about these dumb things. There are sites people can go to that just have a video of how to get them, tell you how to get them, or just post links to all of them, except 18, which you can't get that easily. I've found it really not fun looking for any of them, so I've just used those other sites for the most part. Skill tokens are even worse. Seriously, why should being good at the game get you like 20x more extra songs than being a subscriber? Also, I feel like this has made FFR a pay to play game. Sure, I could unlock Otaku Speedvibe Oni, but only if I play Balloon Fever like 2000x more times, or if I buy a really good keyboard. I'm not fond of either and find it just horrible that there's a token that has such a ridiculous req, especially since I think skill tokens actually encourage cheating, since it can get you more songs. Therefore, unless you're one of the select few who can unlock within 6 of all the skill tokens, cheating will get you more songs than subscribing. Plus you'll get the subscriber songs, anyway, but if you can't get a token, you'll just never get to play that song, which seems really lame to me. And with my little way of thinking that the more hard songs you have to practice on, the better you get, I figure I can't get up to my potential without having all of the hardest songs, so I figure it's just not worth trying, and I might as well just do something else. I'm really missing the days when you could just play for fun, and it didn't matter how good you were. Now FFR sucks IMO for everyone except the extremely skilled or the staff. I don't fall into either of those, so I consider it to suck for me. I need to quit saying crap like that I don't want to be a staff member, b/c every time I do, it seems they add something that gets me interested in the site again. The last time I said that, then they added these new really cool profile games. However, for some reason, you have to hang out in MP to become an MP mod to be a profile chat mod, not hang out in profile chat, so that doesn't really get me anywhere in accomplishing that, but I don't really see why they're combined like that, except that it requires less effort on their part and they seem to be trying to keep the number of staff members pretty low.

3. There are actually quite a few more little reasons, but those are just the ones that totally came to mind that have driven me crazy. Obviously things like cheaters, MP laggers/spammers, etc. don't help. Also I don't have anything good to look forward to. I'd hate it if 3rd style were released, if it didn't have reverse, or anything else FFRish without reverse, plus I don't like any of the new songs plus they have almost no new really hard songs, and even they suck and are only hard do to jacks, which aren't the fun part.

Yes, I know my numbers make just about no sense, they're just sort of there, but it doesn't really matter. As long as it's good enough that people understand the content, that's all that really matters.
