Here's an idea: Could you also add the AIM names of the TWC members to the first post? This could be beneficial to any new people who may not know the screenames and want to have another way to get in touch with you guys.

While it makes sense that yes, the phase ends when the time limit ends and the host should just update later, I always thought it was the up to the host's discretion whether or not a extension was allowed or used?

There is a difference. See, the first extension he made was legitimate. No one had voted, really, and inactivity was high. That is understandable. But to extend it again merely because of his bad scheduling? That is not. And that is what fits into the "update it later, but deadline remains the same" category.

So, then, why is nothing being said about the extension in the last TWG?

I don't know about any of the recent games but if an extension is given the same rules apply. The extension ends when at the time assigned. Players should not be posting after that time. If you read any of the older games you're likely to find a ****load of people yelling at each other not to post after the designated time.

ya, I was one of the first asked to do it and I immediately declined because I didn't want to take an 'active duty' approach to all this ****. I'd rather be bitter about losing the TWG group that I originally joined than trying to fix what that group has become.

edit: though now that I think about it, if I had joined back then maybe I would have more of a 'sway' of sorts in things I actually want such as rzr being eliminated, etc.

Though I was never one for the idea originally, just thought I'd throw it out there to merge the games again. We have like no activity. Just putting it out there. :/

It sucks though because a lot of the vets will squish the new players. Although I am proposing the re-merge, perhaps it would be better to attract new players? I tried credits, but that wasn't so successful. I have a few ideas, does anyone else?

I know if that happened I probably wouldn't play simply because I hate playing games with tons of rules/over elaborate plots/each person having a specific role etc.

One game, then alternate the difficulty every other game. Like go all out with all your crazy plot sets/player roles in the first game, then host a more "jtwg'ish" type game like the one BDN is currently hosting.

That could be arranged, but something tells me that in practice it wouldn't go so well.
