Here they all were. 12 of baseball's greatest sluggers steated in one room. However, they were not there to socialize or reminisce about the balls they've hit into the stars, or the numerous awards they've won. No, they're there because of a more serious matter.
All of these players have been implemented in one of the biggest scandals since the 1919 Black Sox: the steroid scandal. For years, some of these players have been regularly shooting themselves up with performance enhancing drugs, which make them stronger, give them more stamina while working out, and many other tell-tale side effects. The room is silent, as the players all realize the graveness of the situation. Some were calm, others were fidgety, some were nervous: they had been on the juice and they knew their chances of getting into the Hall of Fame could be very well gone if they tested positive.
The commissioner walked in the room. Some of the players jumped, startled. The commissioner did not look pleased, and gave the room a piercing stare.
"Ok, listen up," he said in a very quiet, disappointed tone. "As you all know, you 12 have been drug tested throughout the season. The results are in, and we have found that 3 of you have tested positive for steroids. However, per the collective bargaining agreement that myself and the players union signed, I cannot look at the names on the positive tests. It is your job to figure out who has been using steroids. Once you have sent a player out, he will recieve a 50 game suspension and his name will be tarnished in the history books for the rest of time, so do not take this lightly. You may look at the result of a player's drug test, but only after you have sent him out of the room. Good luck: the legitimacy of the game is at stake."
With that, the commissioner turned on his heels, and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him.
"Listen guys, the integrity of America's pastime is at stake here," 8Shade8 cried. "We must figure out which ones have been tainting the game and get them out of here."
"I agree. Lets get to work." said HiTheyCallMeGod.
