Well, assuming the data for the key item is already stored on the card somewhere, it wouldn't matter where we got it. Kinda like if you trade with a Japanese person and get an item with it, it's the English item. Even mail gets auto-translated.

It might be possible that the item is actually a real download from online I guess, in which case it really wouldn't be compatible unless they made the English one along with it, but I think it's more likely that it's already stored on card and this just unlocks it.

Oh man, I'm loving voice chat in battles. Plus auto lvl 100 so it evens the playing field since my pogeys are not actually lvl 100 *__*

Any other nature you want for Eevee? I have a lot, but I used up my Adamants already. (A few of them have Wish, but I left their parents in day care for too long, so it got overwritten and I didn't notice.)

Quick question:

Aside from their original respective games, are you able to obtain certain needed items in order to obtain trade specific pokemon? (IE. King's Rock to make slowbro -> slowking, Metal Coat to make Scyther -> Scizor or Onix -> Steelix.)

Or do you simply have to trade these pokemon in from other games?

P.S: Still looking for a generous person to provide me with a growlithe and/or nidoran (preferably male).

Yes, it's really stupid. To get a weavile, you have to have a sneasel that is holding sharp claw and have it level up at night.

I'm getting frustrated because I have 149 seen and need a honey tree pokemon for my last one. I keep waiting but it doesn't show up.

You can see all of them without using the honey trees. You should check and see if theres a trainer you haven't battled yet.

I think Tofu has some Growlithe, not positive though. I can get you a Nidoran once I beat the game and get Pal Park (whenever I play I've been doing stuff other than advancing the story ^^; just need to buck up and get to that snow place).

I've been trying to get rid of my male "Combee"s (these were called Mitsuhoney in the Japanese, and I keep calling them that now for some reason, so sorry if it slips). Anyone who wants one can have.

I also have a ton of lv. 1 Elekids from when I bred them for Tofu... they have a special move set that was bred into them (Cross Chop, ThunderPunch, Fire Punch, and Ice Punch). Not easy to get.

You can see all of them without using the honey trees. You should check and see if theres a trainer you haven't battled yet.

The friends thing isn't like an online game's friends list, it's actually pretty useless. How will I ever know if you're on or not?

I don't think you can tell without waiting around in the lobby. If you go downstairs in the Pokecenter, and enter the wi-fi place, you'll show up as online to anyone who has you on their list (and you'll see if anyone on your list is on and in the lobby, too). It's not really practical to just sit around in there unless you just leave it on while you do other things without the DS, so it's easier to just set up a time or contact over AIM or something first.

I have that cherry thing, if that's what you are talking about. I don't have the evolved form, but I can probably breed you a cherry thing (I really can't remember its name right now) if you want to evolve it yourself.

My Elekids!!! XD My god those were a pain, had to breed with Hitmonchan and Machokes and Electabuzz to get those moves. You better not trade those away for mere chump change XD Though none of them have Hidden Power Grass ~_~;;

Yea, I see Growlithes all the time outside the hometown, with Fire Red plugged in.

No takers on my Trade list I see T_T
