I HATE catching the 3 Mirage Legendaries.. It has like maybe 5HP left! And it keeps saying "Oh no! The Pokemon broke free!" And it's pissing me off. This is my third try of restarting my DS to catch the FIRST one. Anyone know a pokemon that can Learn a bunch of Status Ailment moves?

Perfect Pokemon for catching one: Bronzong. You can catch one on the summit of Coronet. The move tutor can give it Hypnosis (not that it helps) and you could use moves like Gyro Ball against them. Also, bring approximately 50 Ultra Balls/Dusk Balls. I caught Uxie in an Ultra Ball and Azelf in a Dusk Ball.

Use a Pokemon that knows False Swipe. False Swipe always leaves the opposing Pokemon with at least 1 HP, never kills it.

Hmm.. I think I will be making an uber team. My normal competitive team is almost all level 100 now. Completely ignoring my in-game team. And I'm totally burned out on Pokemon at the moment x_____x;

You should use your master ball on mespirit that guys a bastard. Cresellia is the other one that runs but it is easy to catch if you just mean look it with a golbat or something. Only took 5 ultra balls.

Mespirit is just cruel and impossible.

Nuu! XD I'm saving my Master Ball. Mespirit will just have to make due with an Ultra Ball.

Lol, None of my pokemon are near 100, But they're all really Powerful. ^^; Looks like I'd be the one in trouble if I battled you. Though I still want to.

I'm actually training 2 teams right now, myself. One team is the one I'd use if any of you faced me, the other is for a gym leader thing I'm doing on another forum (flying type lineup, and Farfetch'd = WIN).

Yeah im kinda having some trouble but for some reason i cant seem to find Heatron in Stark mountain could any1 tell me where it is?

Parasect is good as a False Swiper as it can learn Spore as well.

Mespirit wasn't THAT bad, here's what i did, I fought it with a golbat which had high speed, and used mean look so it couldn't run away. then i took it's hitpoints down intot he red, and switched with a weaville. I only got one hit, because golbat was switched out and therefore mean look effect was gone. so, i used false swipe and took it down to one hitpoint.
I then found it again, got golbat to use hypnosis, put it to sleep, and it STILL ran away.
So, i just kept looking for it, and every time i foudn it, it was asleep and at one hitpoint, so i threw a quick ball every time, and if it didn't catch it, it just ran away.
about a dozen encounters later, i caught my mespirit :3

Parasect is good as a False Swiper as it can learn Spore as well.

I doubt he can get a parasect that easily
i think weaville would be a lot easier, becasue it's around level 35 by snowpoint.

Evolving a Paras isn't that hard. =/

And you can get a Paras through transfer.

The GTS is always there too.

Parasect would have to be at a HIGH level to be a useful catching pokemon. It has terrible stats and bad speed.

My catching team consists of Gengar with Hypnosis and Wide Lens attached and Weavile with False Swipe.

Also, I caught Mespirit with a Quick Ball after some difficulty (took over a week of chasing). Cresselia, too, but that only took a half hour. I still have my Master Ball and I already have all the non-Event legends aside from Palkia.

As for Heatran...

- Go into Stark Mountain
- Travel to the very end of the cave with Buck.
- Leave the mountain after Buck leaves (use an Escape Rope or Dig to make it easier)
- Go to the Survival Area and go into the house to the left of the Poke Center.
- Talk to Buck, and he will leave
- Go back to the very end of the Stark Mountain cave and he will be sitting there.
- Save
- Go for it

Meh I found it useful.

My catching team consists of Ninjask and Parasect. This of course doesn't work against runners. I never bothered to catch runners though, seeing as most of them aren't so useful and I never bother to fill the Pokedex.

P.S. Also, Serebii's forum is pretty helpful when comes to team/moveset advice as well. Guides would have to be GameFAQs, though I remember seeing one that's not half-decent. Let me see if I can find it.
