Ghastly is easy to catch. You can find it in the Tower near Solaceon, or in the Old Cheateau.

Anybody else have a Haunter?

I don't need a Gastly, so I didn't catch one.

I only catch ones I need after beating the game and moving onto building the competitive team.

I want to create two teams.
1. A casual Ghost/Dark team that I will use for catching Legendaries (especially the ones that run.)
2. A sandstorm or hail team.

BTW: I would like a Haunter with Ominous Wind bred into it, if it isn't too much of a hassle. You can do this by breeding a Male Drifblim with Ominous Wind with a Female Ghastly/Haunter/Gengar.

I DO have the National Dex, but I have a limited amount of Pokemon. I have seen 225, and I own 75.

Also, is there any way to get another Eevee? The pokedex says there is, but I'm not too sure myself.

I think it's possible to get a Eevee at the Trophy Garden if the owner of that place says it's there. It's like swarms, only that they're limited to one area.

Edit: Actually, I just looked it up, and it seems Ghastly can't learn that move. :/ Sorry.

I got a USB WiFi connector because I had connection problems this past week. Someone was practically giving me the GSC starters for one Abra with a Thick Club attached, but the connection kept getting ****ed up and the trade never went through.

But yeah, if anyone wants to show me their Event legends, I'm game. I can just look on GTS for them afterwards, assuming they count for Dex entries.

I do prefer the Trade-then-Trade-back method. I got Palkia recorded as obtained that way. I got lots of Pokes, including pretty much all of the PokeRadar ones from Diamond, and I'll be willing to offer any of them.

I found this little tidbit on Serebii's forums. It's a simple guide to evolving Pokemon that need to be traded without ACTUALLY trading. It's useful if you have no one to trade with or if you're impatient.

Well yeah, you do have to perform a trade, but you don't have to trade your beloved Level 100 Shiny Porygon for it to evolve! aljames managed to compose a nice guide, so I give complete credit to him. Here it is:

1. If it needs an evolution item, equip the item before you even start. If the Pokemon doesn't use an evolutionary item to evolve, go right ahead to Step Two.
2. Deposit it at the GTS, and ask for an impossible-to-obtain-Pokemon.
3. Go back to the menu where you see DEPOSIT POKEMON, SEEK POKEMON and EXIT.
4. Choose SEEK POKEMON. Seek a Pokemon (such as Wurmple) and perform a trade.
5. After the trade, go back to the menu where you see SUMMARY, SEEK POKEMON and EXIT.
6. Choose SUMMARY and take back your Pokemon. It will evolve now if you did this correctly..

You need a Wi-Fi Connection, and that's about it... I hope that this helps to keep Wi-Fi Scammers at bay, and to keep the Blacklist Thread in the Battling/Trading Section as slim as possible!

I tried it not too long ago to get an Electivire and it worked like a charm. I asked for a Dialga at a level lower than 9 for it.
