In Metroid Hunters you could just do it in the little room lobby, but not actually during the battle.

Yep, I haven't done it myself but I was right next to my friend when she did it. It's pretty cool.

Damnit i was going to post that. You have to watch it for like 15 minutes just to get all the phrases rofl.

P.S lol: How to get mystery gift

1) Go to the Jubilife TV station in Jubilife City.
2) Go to the 3rd floor.
3) Talk to the man in the lower room (he’s on the left).
4) The first two words you tell him are “everyone” and “happy“.
5) the second two words are “Wi-Fi” and “Connection“.
6) This will then unlock the Mystery Gift feature on the main menu.


What you will realise when checking out mystery gift is the 3rd option which says get it through WFC. So no longer do you have to go to pokemon events just to get that one time only event pokemon.

Now you can just obtain it from the safety of your own home and wireless router on the day of the event. Delicious.

There is an event in Japan on the 14th for a Darkrai with Roar of Time and Spacial Rend.

Are we able to participate in Japanese events? I mean, it is online and with 100% compatibility between the two versions and all.

I guess we should just try Mystery Gift on the 14th (which I guess is the night of the 13th for us? ).

theres never been an event so we have never been able to tell rofl. I guess we will find out then.

I have a feeling that they won't be compatible because most the events give you a key item. Japans key item wouldn't be in english would it?
